환경소음의 저감을 위한 방안으로 국내에서 많이 설치되고 있는 방음벽의 차감특성 평가 방법에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 반복성 실험이 보장될 수 있도록, 두 개의 잔향실로 이루어진 닫힌 공간에서 잔향실 사이에 차음대상 시료를 설치하여 실험을 실시하였다. 실험 대상시료로는 암면과 유기질 섬유 등으로 충전된 재료를 사용하였으며 측정결과, 차음특성을 나타내는 수치값은 물리적으로 예측하는 현상과 부합되었다.
都市 쓰레기 燒却處理場에서 발생하는 다이옥신類에 관한 硏究

Recently environmental issue is close up in my country. Environmental pollution is a very important problem in Korea. Especilly, 2 or 3 waste incinerator plants were built. Municipal waste incinerator plants will be increase and these plants product many toxicoid that is dioxin, the other air pollutants. Technologies for Dioxin(PCDD/PCDF) emission control are classified into four categories ; combustion control, rapid cooling of the burnt gases, removal/destruction in the flue gases and destruction / dechlorination in the flyashes. In this study, the relation between the formation/emissssion mechanisms and the control technologies for Dioxin(PCDD/PCDF) is discussed. The practical control methods are introduced extensively, and their adoption order is proposed along with effectiveness. In addition, the trend of emission regulations in Japan is reviewed .

Active fault gases in Central japan have been analyzed to pursue the relationships between gas ratios in air versus those of fault gases and a role as the precursor of earthquakes. A reexamination of gas chromatographic technique in determining He/Ar rations has also been made. When the mutual separation among He, H₃and Ne is poor, accurate determination of He/Ar and Ne/Ar ratios in the case of using O₂carrier gas is impossible. Some experimenal conditions for complete separation of He, H and Ne have been examined. Gases charged mainly within fault gouges are characterized by high concentration of H₂,and gases within the fracture zone in Quarternary sediments are characterized by a high concentration of CO₂. Degassing of H₂or CO₂ may be related with fault movements. He/Ar ratios of gases which occurs as bubbles in fiowing water from fault zone at Yuya and Byakko hot springs were measured at hourly intervals. The daily variation correlates with theoretical strain. An earthquake of M=4.2 occured on January 5, 1981 at Ise Bay near the city of Nagoya. The He/Ar ratios decrease at any point. These variation might relate to the occurrence of earthquake.

In order to investigate how the different method of laboratory shear test such as uniaxial, radial compression test, triaxial compression test or direct shear test has the influence of the max, shear strength, uniaxial, radial, compression test and IBG system direct shear tests were carried out on OGINO tuff specimens. As a result of this work it was recognized that max, shear strength derived from results of IBG system direct shear test coincide with the Mohr's failure envelope derived from results of uniaxial, radial compression test in region of normal stresses 40kg/cm^2-100kg/cm^2. On the other hand, in lower and higher region, shear strength derived from the above two different method did not coincide, but has remarkable deviation.

In order to survey traffic volume and traffic sound level, and to analyze its relationship, traffic volumes and traffic sound levels are measured at 16 sites in Chan-ju city from April to November, in 1987. The obtained results are as follows; 1.Average equivalent sound level (Leq) at central area in Chon-ju city is ranged 66.5~77.3dB. 2.Among the sites, Leq is the highest at site 1-2 and the lowest at sites 1-11. 3.In most cases, Leq is higher in April and November than any other month. 4.NRN at central area in Chon-ju city excessed the standard of sound level, inacted by Environmental Agency and that by I.S.O. 5.As a decreasing alternatives of Leq at central area in Chon-ju city, scattering of cars passing through the central area in chon-ju city, by construction of road at outside of city is necessary. 6.The correlation between traffic volume(cars/hr,Q) and traffic sound level(dB,L) is shown as L=11.087 logQ+44.

This study was carried out to find the relative contribution of source emitted in the different plant locations in the Ulsan Industrial Estate. Based on its relative sensitivity, the percentage loss to each crop that is likely to occur under different plant damaging pollution source locations were calculated. The amount of emissions of the sources from existing three industries selected were assumed to be situated on five different virtual places respectively in Ulsan, stack date for each of them, and the capabilities of meteorological conditions were used as input data for running are of the atmospheric dispersion model, CDMQC. The source contribution produced by the CDMQC run is noticed to offer the proportion of total reimbursement in the range of 6.7 ~ 7.0 at U plant, 190~540 at P plant and 19~230 at C plant respectively. While the existing three plants are in the range of 100, the results of the study would serve as basic framework for environmental impact assessment, and for the urban development planning in problem areas.

For the purpose of acknowledgement of pollution reality, we measured water quality of Chon-ju River, Jan. 1986 to Jun. 1987, and obtained results are as follows ; 1. The pollution of Chon-ju River is seriously increased from the downstream of WanSan bridge. 2. Water quality of downstream in Chon-ju River is 70.8mg/ℓ of BOD, 1.6mg/ℓ of DO, 2.47mg/ℓ of NH_3-N. 3. Sediment in upstream of concrete dam are accumulated for slow velocity of flow and decayed aerobically. 4. Water quality of Chon-ju River is more deteriorated in spring and Autumn than in summer and Winter, and it is deeply related to the rainfall and water temperature. 5. In order to enhance the water quality of Chon-ju River, Sewage and industrial wastewater have to be treated in wastewater treatment plant and Effuluent standard to enforce.
