This study is on the architectural planning of the secondary school for the future. It focuses on principles and directions of the architectural planning. There are two motivations on the change of education paradigm. The one is that educational philosophy changes and the other is that the knowledge based society has come. Now these affection factors put the education paradigm to be changed. These educational paradigm need to be analyzed from constructivism and educational informationage. Lastly, architectural principles and directions were analogized from educational directions. Architectural principles(6 elements) and directions(15 elements) have been proposed in this study. The conclusion of this study, architectural planning of educational facilities must be with those criteria for more characteristic schools and organic schools.
중소규모 초등학교에서 특별교실 및 지원시설의 다목적화에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to be able to accept various educational processes with a few classrooms by multi-purpose uses special classrooms and supporting facilities of medium and small sized elementary school. For this purpose, I had divided into three parts by analyzing correlation of each classrooms according to the types of lessons, necessary equipment, building equipment environment, the need of users. The types of lessons and necessary facilities make the scope of each classrooms throughout Correspondence Analysis, and the need of users that is the recognized similarity between each rooms by teachers, make the scope by using Multi-Dimensional Scaling(MDS). Establish the final scope by combining and analyzing the already classified rooms by each factor. Lastly, calculate the numbers of rooms by applying the usage rate of each classified classroom and examine the standard of planning and the example of composition for the multi-purpose uses of combined room.

The purpose of this study is to create an approach to architectural planning centered on an Biotop-space Factor, with the purpose of applying environmentally friendly architecture to school buildings. For this, the notion of ecological schools is defined, and possible use of the planning standard is studied as a means by which ecological school planning can be carried out. As a result, ecological schools can be viewed as (1) the field of education, (2) the field of logical community and (3) a stronghold of the ecological environment. And The possible creation of a quantified goal and level at Ecological school planning is also reviewed with the Biotop-space Factor.

To provide a better educational environment for education, sufficient research in the educational facilities should be carried out. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to establish a direction in research field of educational facilities. To achieve this aim, the purpose of education and the purpose of educational facilities for its sufficiency is established, and through the investigation on the composition realm of educational facilities, the direction of related study field and realm of study is shown. The results are shown as table 12 and table 13, of which the research direction is concerned with table 12, and the model of method is concerned with table 13.

Schools have focused so far on a student-oriented education. As the roles of schools, however, have been increasingly emphasized in the information society, community-centered functions are now additionally required. Beyond simply allowing communities to utilize selected facilities, schools can conduct re-education programs for community residents and actively use their facilities for such purposes. As explained above, schools must continuously evolve to meet current needs and demands, such as by offering special classes and utilizing learning facilities in the elementary levels to promote learning in ever-changing societies. This study analyzed the functions of school facilities to communities, as well as the educational functions involved in teaching-learning processes, in light of the advent of a knowledge and information society. Through analysis, the types of information facilities in elementary schools were derived. On the basis of such derived types, systematic and reasonable methods to estimate the scope were suggested.

This study purpose is extract on the architectural principles and architectural planning direction for existing school facility renovation. therefore, This study is occur to renovation from change factor and change direction of the school facility under prerequisite, school facility change direction is with a pedagogy side and it classified with the social side which it bites and it presented. School facility renovation extracted a plan principles with the base which will reach. Was extracted renovation plan Principles to analyze the interrelationship of necessary condition of school facility, It follows in renovation principle presented the renovation plan direction 61 branch.

Lots of area in downtown school is decreasing gradually but facilities area is increasing continuously. Therefore, to solve space crunch, plan that activate underground space is required. So present plan that solve increased facilities area through underground space plan. The first phase of study is space classification. Secondly, analyze interrelation with preferred factor of underground space by each space. Finally, present plan direction that consider conquest factor of underground space from education space.
