      • 家蠶의 人工飼料育에 있어서 飼料組成差異와 環境條件이 누에의 成長發育에 미치는 影響

        This study was carried out to investigate the effect of the difference of dietary compositions and environmental conditions on the growth and development of silkworm. The results obtained are as follows: 1. The more amount of soybean meal of diet was added, the more duration of the larval period was shortened. But Fifty percent increase of the amount of protein of diet leongthened the duration of larval period. 2. Fifty percent addition of the soybean meal to the diet does not influence the silkworm mortality, Whereas more than that gives rise to the adverse effect on the silkworm mortality. 3. The cocoon quality was significantly affected by the difference of dietary composition. 4. In the environmental condition the duration of larval period was shortened in the high temperature and the dark condition. 5. The silkworm mortality was increased in the high temperature and the light condition. 6. The cocoon quality was significantly affected in the high temperature and the dark condition.

      • 누에의 人工飼料 開發에 관한 硏究

        This experiment was conducted to improve the quality of artificial diet for the silkworm., Bombyx mori. 1. All of the Corn, Barley, Rice were good for response, Corn was most recommendable starch source for artificial diet. 2. The precentage of under grown larvae could be reduced by the treatment of hexane when the soybean powder was used for starch source, which was especially effective on the diet for the 1st instar. 3. Feeding responses and growth at 4th instar larvae were varied by the individual moth, however the Japanese strains were superior to Chinese strains in general case. 4. All of the hybrid silkworm showed the better feeding response and growth than their original strains. 5. Both cocoon productivity and egg productivity of the original strains reared on the artificial diet were increased by the subsequent rearing through generation.

      • 누에의 人工飼料에 있어서 곡물의 利用에 관한 硏究

        This studies were investigated on the utilization of the grain flour instead of starches in the artificial diet for silkworm raising. The results are as follows; 1. The corn, barley, small green pea and rice powder are good for feeding response and available to starch source for artificial diet. 2. The small green pea and millet powder instead of potato starches were affected shorten young larval period. 3. The corn powder was affected shorten grown larval period but the cocoon shell weight were weighted more heavy. 4. In the original race, jam 113 and Jam 114 were shortened larval period and cocoon quality were more better than another varieties. 5. In the hybrid, Jam 113 x Jam 114 was affected better larval period, mortality and cocoon quality than another varieties. 6. The constant dark condition was shortened in the larval period and was affected significantly cocoon quality in the artificial feeding. 7. Artificial diet fed on 1st-2nd larval stage were affected more long larval period and a little lighter than mulberry leaf feeding. so there were no problems on artificial feeding, because 1st-2nd on Artificial diet feeding were same levels on various characters and were recovered infereior characters to change on mulberry leaf feeding but 1st-3rd on artificial diet feeding were affected more worse than cocoon production, cocoon quality and larval period on mulberry leaf feeding.

        전신마취하의 동맥혈 및 정맥혈의 Pco2, pH 및 O2 Saturation 의 비교 관찰

        The arterial carbon dioxide partial pressure (Pco2) & pH are basic indices of the adequacy of ventilation in anesthetized patients. Obstacles to the use of these indices intraoperatively are the inconvenience and risks associated with obtaining arterial blood, especially in the infant. Venous blood samples may be obtained conveniently, repeatedly and without additional hazard. If venous rather than arterial blood could be used for indirect estimation of pH and PaCO2, it would encourage the use of such measurements. Venous blood drawn from back of the hand or distal third of forearm is derived principally from cutaneous blocd flow, which is usually increased by general anesthesia or local heating. This study compares the values for Pco2, pH and O2 saturation of blood samples drawn from a radial or femoral artery and a vein on the back of hand during general anesthesia, preanesthesia and postanesthesia in recovery room.

        접촉성 육아종 4 예 보고

        Traumatic granuloma of the larynx is a localized inflammatory response to the loss of mucosa caused by laryngeal trauma. Endotracheal intubation is the most common cause of traumatic granuloma. The granuloma arises from the vocal process of the arythenoid. Recently we experienced four cases of laryngeal intubation granuloma in Hanyang Medical Center. The microhistologic study confirmed granulomatous polyps of the larynx.
