With the increase of the importance of the ocean industry, understanding about the configuration of the offshore project has become increasingly important. In order to understand the configuration of the offshore plant project, the entire life cycle of offshore projects is required. Life cycle of the offshore plant can be started from the needs of the potential customers, then concretized through the seamless development, production, transportation and finally get to the final products. Environment that can visualize the life cycle model to maximize understanding of the life cycle model is required for the better project management. In this study, we proposed a life cycle model of offshore plant development through the life cycle analysis of the major type of offshore plant, then constructed a simulation environment, which can be used to visualize the life cycle of the offshore plant.
