Considering the importance of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), this study identifies PAHs pollution levels in Daejeon urban areas and human harm levels for major PAHs to obtain necessary data for the direction of management policies and the planning of management. According to the analysis, it was the highest in the area near the industrial complex, Daehwa-dong, and low concentration in Jeongnim-dong, where ordinary housing and small businesses are in a lot. Therefore, it is deemed that there will be a number of industries that emit high concentrations of PAHs in the industrial complex. Also, if you look at each season, the difference in concentration between two seasons in fall and winter, when the concentration is high, there is less in Daehwa-dong near the industrial complex, and in Seongnam-dong, in the downtown area, winter is about four times higher than in fall. Therefore, compared to Seongnam-dong, where concentration is high only at certain times, Daehwa-dong can be seen as an area affected by high concentration for a longer period of time. Overall it is considered to be an area that requires continuous monitoring and management as the concentration is clearly high at the point of the dialog near the industrial complex
