Lawrence was continuouly travelling, and had no permanent home. From 1919 to 1925, he travelled much and followed his own pattern of life, searching for some society with which he could establish personal contact. Aaron's Rod(1922), Kangaroo(1923) and The Plumed Serpent(1925), written during this period, constitute Lawrence's trilogy on the theme of male leadership, an important concern in the 1920's. These novels represent deviation from Lawrence's typical preoccupation with the $quot;bloodrelation$quot; between men and women, which is the source of great power and happiness in human beings. They are concerned with spiritual regeneration and with the possibility of salvation through charismatic leadership. Lawrence would replace the humanism of western civilization with his new faith in these works. He was trying to establish a Utopia through dictatorship of a religious institution. The relation between Lawrence's religious ideas and the whole of his personal, social and political thinking is integral. The revolution to which this leadership trilogy is dedicated is a revolution of man's inner values, out of which will naturally spring a thorough revision of political and social institutions. What he was seeking was not a form of organization, but an entirely new form of consciousness. For a new form of consciousness, man requires a new notion of the self. In these novels Lawrence is mainly concerned with the subject of male supremacy in marriage and the necessity of founding the nucleus of a new society on a union between man and man in order to supplement the male and female relationship. To find a way of establishing harmony between human beings, Lawrence attempts to stress the thesis of submission by the inferior being to the superior being as well as women to men. Lawrence claims that instead of competition and struggle man should seek for the right balance between people, in sex, in politics, in religion. Lawrence began to realize that his quest was not a socio-political one, but a religious one. Seeking a new revelation for the world Lawrence finds it in the religion of the pre-Christian mysteries, in an invocation of the $quot;dark-god$quot; of certain primitive civilization. Just as his dark-god is the god of the sexual mystery, the god in man's own blood, so his social and political criterion is whether or not man is permitted his godhood. According to Lawrence, it is when man fulfills his sexual nature that he attains his highest human destiny and achieves godhood. These novels are all semi-autobiographical, as are his other works.

This paper presents miniaturized setback generators based on the conversion of mechanical energy into electrical energy for military applications, especially power supply for electronic fuzes. In order to minimize the volume of setback generators, a ring-shaped magnet enclosing a coil assembly is adopted. A mechanical safety system, shear plate, is used as a release mechanism of the setback generators to prevent the generators from operating accidentally. The setback generators are intended not to ignite an electrical detonator but to charge a capacitor which is capable of driving electronic circuit of fuze. We design the setback generators using the simulation results of an electromagnetic analysis tool, $Maxwell^{(R)}$ 2D. In experimental study, we perform safety tests of the shear plate and firing tests of the fabricated setback generators. The present setback generators show that the voltage of 14.2V is charged at the capacitor of $30{\mu}F$ within the charging time of 0.68msec and the critical acceleration for safety is 5,000G, thus verifying that the setback generators with a ring-shaped permanent magnet can be applicable to the power supply of small-caliber electronic fuze.

Purpose: This study aimed to compare the regulatory T cells in cord blood of appropriatefor gestational age (AGA) neonates with those of small for gestational age (SGA) neonates. Materials and Methods: Umbilical cord blood was collectedupon labor in 108 healthy full-term (between 37 and 41 gestational weeks) neonates, who were born between November 2010 and April 2012. Among them, 77 samples were obtained from AGA neonates, and 31 samples were obtained from SGA neonates. Regulatory T cells and lymphocyte subsets were determined using a flow cytometer. Student’s t-test for independent samples was used to comparedifferences between AGA and SGA neonates. Results: Regulatory T cells in cord blood were increased in the SGA group compared with normal controls (p=0.041). However, cytotoxic T cells in cord blood were significantly decreased in the SGA group compared with normal controls (p=0.007). Conclusion: This is the first study to compare the distribution of lymphocyte subsets including regulatoryT cells in cord blood between AGA neonates and SGA neonates.
