This study is to suggest desirable promotion of health by analyzing elderly’s health promotion activities and grasping the effect of the activities on life satisfaction, further, based on the results it offers the base line data for efficient and effective improvement of life satisfaction. As a result of the analysis on the health promotion activities in accordance with general characteristics, gender, allowance, and economic level are significant related factors in statistics. The result of analysis on life satisfaction depending on general characteristics showed that gender, age, religion, housemate, allowance, and economic level are statistically significant. The multiple regression analysis of the effect of health promotion activity on life satisfaction suggested that physical, social and emotional health have positive influences in statistics. In order to improve senior health promotion strategy and live satisfaction, physical and mental functions of senior class should be considered thoroughly in order to develop health promotion program. The improvement also requires social conditions.

This study is provide basic data for the lifestyle of the elderly provide an opportunity transition to elderly themselves desirable lifestyle by analyzing the impact of health promotion activities and provide direction for health policy in the elderly based on it. According to the general characteristics lifestyle gender, partner, pocket money, and economic levels were analyzed statistically significantly associated factors. In addition, health promoting behavior according to the general characteristics sex, pocket money, and economic levels were analyzed statistically significantly associated factors. Recently in Korea, a marine ranching project has continued to grow with the increasing needs of sea development. Management techniques, including settlement reduction and scour protection, have been required for constructing and maintaining the artificial reefs of this marine ranching project. The generation of settlement and scour can be influenced by ground characteristics. In this study, various laboratory tests (penetration test, two-dimensional water tank test) were performed to determine the settlement and scour characteristics of artificial reefs under various ground conditions. Three kinds of ground reinforcement were prepared: unreinforced, geogrid, and hybrid bamboo mat. Penetration test results showed that the normalized settlement ratio of ground reinforced with a hybrid bamboo mat was smaller than those of unreinforced ground and geogrid-reinforced ground. Two-dimensional water tank test results showed that the scour characteristics of ground reinforced with a geogrid were more reduced and stable than unreinforced ground. The amount of scour and ground settlement also decreased with increasing reinforced area.
산업부산물을 이용한 비소성 고화제 혼합토의 역학적 특성

This study investigated the engineering characteristics of non-sintering binder-stabilized mixtures consisting of different ratios of a hardening agent(3%, 6%, 9%, 12%) for recycling industrial by-products through several series of laboratory tests. The hardening agents consisted of two kinds of non-sintering binders(NSB-1, NSB-2), which were developed by using inter-chemical reactions among blast furnace slag, phospho-gypsum, and an alkali activator. In addition, ordinary Portland cement(OPC) was used to compare the engineering characteristics of the stabilized mixture. An unconfined compressive test showed that the unconfined compressive strength increased with the curing time and mixing ratio. Experimental test results indicated that the 7-day strength of the NSB-1 mixture was similar to that of the OPC mixture. However, its 28-day strength was higher than that of the OPC mixture. The secant module of elasticity showed a range of E50=(42-109)qu regardless of the agents. Based on the results of triaxial tests, the cohesion and friction angle increased with the mixing ratio.

This paper investigates the strength characteristics and stress-strain behaviors of waste fishing net (WFN)-added lightweight soil. The lightweight soil, which consisted of dredged soil, crumb rubber, and cement, was reinforced with WFN in order to increase its shear strength. Glue treated WEN was also added to lightweight soil to improve the interlocking between the soil mixture and WEN. Three kinds of test specimens were prepared: unreinforced lightweight soil, reinforced lightweight soil without glue treatment, and reinforced lightweight soil with glue treatment. Several series of laboratory tests were carried out, including flow value tests, unconfined compression tests, and SEM analyses. From the experimental results, it was found that the peak strength of the reinforced lightweight soil with glue treatment was increased by the increased interlocking between the soil mixture and WEN, which was induced from the bonding effect. The stress-strain relation of the reinforced lightweight soil, irrespective of the glue treatment, showed a more ductile behavior than that of the unreinforced lightweight soil.
