승용 디젤엔진의 연소실 압력 변화에 따른 피스톤 온도 특성

In this study, the characteristics of piston temperature according to the combustion pressure were analyzed in a passenger car diesel engine. The peak combustion pressure was increased from 170bar to 210bar by adjusting the control parameters such as injection timing and intake pressure. In addition, effects of the shapes and locations of cooling gallery inside the re-melting piston on the piston temperature were evaluated. As the combustion pressure increased, the average piston temperature increased up to 21% in the base piston, while that in the piston with the re-melting technique and larger cooling gallery area increased up to 18 %. On the other hand, the piston with the larger cooling gallery area as well as raised cooling gallery to the piston crown side showed a similar temperature level with the base piston at the 170bar combustion pressure condition.
