Compared to conventional flame combustion. catalytic combustion had the advantage of oxidation of V.O.C. gas which was high voluminous, low caloric mixture flow. However, the temperature of mixture gas should be over the one of catalytic reaction start and the control of reaction on the catalytic surface tends to be vulnerable. To overcome these obstacles, composition of both catalytic combustor and heat exchanger was devised and named the sequential catalytic combustion system. In this system, only trigger unit needed preheating process for transient starting time. Once trigger unit was ignited, the next unit was supplied heat to ignite from that and same process was performed to the last one sequentially. When it come to steady state, whole mixture gas was oxidated at each unit simultaneously and preheating for trigger unit was not needed any more. System of 100 kcalh/hr capacity was devised and operated successfully.

The module of solar photovoltaic power generator of crystalline silicon shows about a 0.5% decrease in output when the temperature increases 1℃ because of the change of electromotive force by temperature. For this reason, as the amount of the concentrated light increases, the efficiency of development tends to decline since the temperature of the module also increases. Therefore, the profits of commercial solar photovoltaic power generator plants have been declining. As of cooling systems, water cooler is excellent at the effect of heat transfer, and is a suitable method for increasing the amount of the concentrated light on the surface of the module. We have been experimenting the effect of the increases in the output about the module of solar photovoltaic power generator in crystalline silicon by using the cooling systems over the years. As a result of the experiment, we measured a cooling effect by seasons and the effect of the increases in output quantitatively. In the event of the country, we could get the effect of 10%~15% output and is considered to get the effect of 8%~12% output according to the net profit, except for operational costs.
