특허 인용 네트워크 분석을 활용한 국내 중소기업의 태양광 기술 특허 분석

최근 화석연료 고갈과 이상기후 변화 발생 등 환경문제로 인하여 전 세계적으로 탄소중립에 대한 관심이 증대됨에 따라 재생에너지에 대한 관심도 고조되고 있다. 특히 국내의 경우 그린뉴딜을 앞세운 탄소중립 정책과 ESG(Environmental, social and Governance)에 대한 관심이 증대되면서 태양광 산업이 제2의 전성기를 맞이할 것으로 기대하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 이러한 태양광 산업의 최근 15년 동안의 국내 기술 특허들을 분석함으로써 태양광 기술의 발전 변화와 동향을 파악하고자 한다. 특히 본 연구는 국내 중소기업의 태양광 기술 특허를 활용하여 특허 인용 네트워크 분석을 실시하여, 특허 분석에서 소외되던 국내 중소기업의 기술 발전과 현황을 체계적으로 분석함으로써 향후 태양광 산업에서 중소기업의 발전 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 WIPSON을 통해 국내 태양광 기술 특허 데이터를 수집하였고, 데이터 정제를 위하여 Python3.6과 네트워크 분석을 위해 Gephi 9.2.0을 활용하였다. 분석 결과 태양광 산업에서 다양한 융ㆍ복합이 이루어지고 있음 발견하였다. 국내 태양광 산업의 특허 출원 건수가 감소함에 따라 태양광 산업이 쇠퇴기에 접어들었다는 진단을 내리는 연구가 있으나, IPC 특허 인용 네트워크 분석결과 태양광 기술 특허의 중심성이 기초기술에서 응용기술로 넘어가고 다양한 IPC가 나타나고 있는 점을 확인할 때 아직 성장ㆍ성숙기에 머물고 있을 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 태양광 산업은 융복합 확산 단계에 위치하기 때문에 이에 대한 정책적 지원 마련이 필요하다. In recent years, as interest in carbon neutrality has increased worldwide due to environmental problems such as fossil fuel depletion and abnormal climate change, interest in renewable energy is also increasing. In particular, in Korea, the photovoltaic industry is expected to face its second heyday as interest in carbon neutrality policies and ESG with the Green New Deal at the forefront increases. Therefore, this study aims to understand the changes and trends in photovoltaic technology development by analyzing patents in the photovoltaic industry over the past 15 years. In particular, this study attempted to present the future direction of development of SMEs in the photovoltaic industry by systematically analyzing the technological development and current status of SMEs that were alienated from patent analysis. To this end, patent data was collected through WIPSON, and Python 3.6 was used for data purification and Gephi 9.2.0 was used for network analysis. As a result of the analysis, it could be observed that the photovoltaic technology of domestic SMEs is changing from basic technology to application technology over time.
