We present a model of chaotic inflation in D=10 superstring theory. Taking account of gluino and Majorana-Weyl fermion condensations and assuming that supersymmetry is broken near planck scale, we add a mass term of dilation field. Also adding casimir energy term to the effective action, we find that chaotic inflation can occur in superstring theory.

We investigate possible inflationary cosmology of superstring theory using the cosmological method of higher dimensional unification theory. We assume that the fermion condensations occur and supersymmetry is broken at the early stage of the universe. Adding dilation mass term to the theory, we find a cosmological solution in which the 4-dimensional space-time relaxes to Minkowski space and the extra 6-dimensions becomes stable after sufficient inflation.
