        미분탄 연소를 위한 공기압 수송에 관한 연구

        Saltation occurs in horizontal flow of solid and gas when the carrier gas velocity is small enough to permit enough to settling of the solid particles within the transport line. So we should examine the pneumatic flow system to lessen the unbured carbon in the power plant. In this paper the saltation velocity was studied on the various solid flow rate in the constant pipe diameter and on the various temperatures of the flow gas. The air velocity in the power plant transport lines was also surveyed in order to compare with the saltation velocity. As the solid flow rate increased in the constant diameter, saltation velocity increased and as the temperater of the flow gas inereased in the transport line, saltation velocity also increased.

        알루미나입자로 강화된 알루미늄합금 복합재료의 미세조직과 기계적 성질

        The mechanical properties and microstructures of aluminum-matrix composites fabricated by the dispersion of fine alumina particles less than $20{\mu}m$ in size into 6061 aluminum alloys are investigated in this study. In the as-quenched state, the yield stress of the composite is 40~85 MPa higher than that of the 6061 alloy. This difference is attributed to the high density of dislocations within the matrix introduced due to the difference in the thermal expansion coefficients between the matrix and the reinforcement. The difference in the yield stress between the composite and the 6061 alloy decreases with the aging time and the age-hardening curves of both materials show a similar trend. At room temperature, the strain-hardening rate of the composite is higher than that of the 6061 alloy, most likely because the distribution of reinforcements enhances the dislocation density during deformation. Both the yield stress and the strain-hardening rate of the T6-treated composite decrease as the testing temperature increases, and the rate of decrease is faster in the composite than in the 6061 alloy. Under creep conditions, the stress exponents of the T6-treated composite vary from 8.3 at 473 K to 4.8 at 623 K. These exponents are larger than those of the 6061 matrix alloy.

        The combustion kinetics of the imported bituminous coal was studied in the interme-diated heating rate. The activation energy and the frequency factor were obtained by experi-ment of the coal weight loss depending on the combustion time with Ih. furnace. The experi-ments were performed in the heating rates of $1,5,10^{\circ}C/sec\;or\;20^{\circ}C/sec\;at\;the\;600-900^{\circ}C$ maximum temperature, The values of the activation energy(E) which were calculated from the experimental data existed in the range from 3000cal/g-mol to 15000cal/g-mol, and those of the frequency $factor(1nk_O)$ were in the range from 4.5cm/sec to 11.5cm/sec.

        원통형 스퍼터링 장치로 제작한 Ti 및 Al 박막구조

        Metal films (i.e., Ti, Al and SUH310S) were prepared in a magnetron sputtering apparatus, and their cross-sectional structures were investigated using scanning electron microscopy. The apparatus used consisted of a cylindrical metal target which was electrically grounded, and two anode rings attached to the top and to the bottom of the target. A wire was placed along the center-line of the cylindrical target to provide a substrate. When the electrical potential of the substrate was varied, the metal-film formation rate depended on both the discharge voltage and the electrical potential of the substrate. As we made the magnetic field stronger, the plasma which appeared near the target collected on the plasma wall surface and thereby decreased the bias current. The bias current on the conducting wire was different from that for cation collection. The bias current decreased because the collection of cations decreased when we increased the magnetic-coil current. When the substrate was electrically isolated, the films deposited showed a slightly coarse columnar structure with thin voids between adjacent columns. In contrast, in the case of the grounded substrate, the deposited film did not show any clear columns but instead, showed a densely-packed granular structure. No peeling region was observed between the film and substrate, indicating good adhesion.

        제품 확산기 한국 세탁기의 특징과 디자인문화, 1987-1992

        Background : Washing machines, which began to expand in popularity in the early 1980s, reached saturation by the early 1990s. The rapid increase in penetration, especially around 1990, was a major factor in positioning the washing machine as an everyday necessity. During this time, South Korea hosted the 1988 Seoul Olympics, overseas travel was liberalized, and apartments became the dominant form of housing. The number of people who considered themselves middle class was also rapidly increasing. This study focuses on the period around 1990, when the era of ‘ideology’ ended and the era of everyday life began. During this period, the three major home appliance companies competed fiercely and produced a variety of washing machines, which were the result of the interaction of various objects and forces. This study examines the relationships and interactions between washing machines and the various objects that surround them from 1987 to 1992, a period of rapid proliferation. The study aims to reveal the characteristics of washing machines and the design culture surrounding them. Methods : This study utilized advertisements to access the audience. This is because advertisements provide relatively detailed information about washing machines, as well as the context of their production and reception at the time of their appearance. However, the advertisements were only a starting point, and comparisons with articles and other relevant sources were used to find the truth. Results : The findings of this study are as follows. First, fully automatic washing machines, which led the trend of washing machines since the mid-1980s, lost their dominance when artificial intelligence washing machines appeared in the late 1990s. The competition for artificial intelligence washing machines using fuzzy theory was mainly fought between GoldStar and Samsung Electronics. Second, in late 1991, Daewoo Electronics launched an air bubble washing machine, and the development direction of washing machines rapidly shifted from artificial intelligence using fuzzy theory to washing methods. This shift in focus paved the way for the emergence of South Korean (hereafter, Korean) washing machines. In 1992, Samsung Electronics launched the boiling washing machine, which, along with the air bubble washing machine, led the Korean-style washing machine phenomenon. Third, around 1990, there was a clear preference for larger, quieter washing machines with scheduling capabilities. This was closely related to the lifestyle of dual-income couples. During this period, the number of dual-income couples increased due to changing social perceptions of working women and expanding educational opportunities for women, and washing machines were actively developed to target them. Conclusions : Around 1990, washing machines were developing in three directions: artificial intelligence washing machines, Korean-style washing machines, and large, quiet washing machines with scheduling functions.
