관리종목 및 투자유의종목은 거래소에서 지정사유에 의해서 지정되며 별도로 취급받는 종목이다. 본 연구는 이러한 종목의 주식들의 가치평가에 있어서 회계정보가 어떠한 역할을 수행하는지를 검토한다. 관리종목이나 투자유의종목은 투자자나 잠재적인 투자자에게 해당 주식에 대한 투자시 주의를 환기시키려는 목적이 있다. 이러한 정보가 반드시 이 종목의 회계정보가 적절하지 않을 것이라는 것을 의미하지는 않으나 관리종목 지정사유에는 회계적인 사유도 존재한다. 연구결과 관리종목의 지정 전에 비하여 지정 후에 비기대이익에 대한 누적초과수익률이 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 관리종목의 지정 자체가 시장에서 부정적인 정보로 인식함을 의미한다. 연구결과 관리종목에서 해제된 후에 비기대이익에 대한 누적초과수익률이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 관리종목 지정 사유를 검토하면 많은 경우는 공개적인 정보에 근거한다. 이미 상당한 수준의 위험에 처한 기업임이 알려졌는데 이를 별도의 조치를 취하면서 관리종목으로 지정함이 의미가 있는지도 고민해 보아야 한다. 오히려 관리종목으로 지정받았다는 사실 자체가 나쁜 정보로 작용하여 상장폐지를 유발하는 결과가 초래될 수도 있다. Administrative Issues are specified by the designation causes and dealt separately in stock market. This article examines what functions the accounting informations are taking in stock valuation of administrative issues. Administrative issues are made to draw attention when investors or potential investors decide to invest their money in these stocks. Though these information does not always mean that the accounting informations of these issues are not appropriate, the accounting causes exist in the designation causes of administrative issues. In conclusion, the cumulative abnormal return for unexpected income declines after it is specified as administrative issues. This means that the designation acts as a negative information in stock market. And the cumulative abnormal return for unexpected income turns to increase when it is released from the administrative issues. The destination causes of administrative issues are based on the open informations in many cases. It is needed to reconsider if it is necessary to designate it is an administrative issues because it is already widely spread that the company is inappropriate to invest and in trouble. It would rather affect negatively to get desisted in stock market acting as a negative information.
