The structural performance difference of the spare tire well composite pressure cylinder mounted on the LPG vehicles according to the change of dome shape was compared and analyzed. All six concepts are derived, and each concept is classified into two types of curvature and linear shape of dome area. And the value of the fillet at the contact point between the dome and the cylinder was changed. The type of curvature of the dome area is derived by applying the semi - geodesic coordination theory, which is the non-isotensoid dome theory. Structural performance was compared and analyzed by applying design burst pressure to the inner wall of the cylinder. As a result, it was confirmed that the concept 3, which applied the contact fillet value of 70mm between the cylinder and the dome, has the curved shape of the dome part, and that the displacement can be suppressed with high stress and the low stress is satisfied. In other words, it is confirmed that the composite cylinder with a compact shape like the spare tire well composite cylinder is also effective in suppressing the stress at the contact portion that forms a large geometrical step when the dome portion has a curved shape than a straight type. It can be confirmed that the higher the fillet value of the contact part is, the more effective the displacement and stress generation.
