        댐호화된 하천의 조류 과다 발생원인과 해소 방안 - 낙동강 물금 지역의 수질 분석 데이터를 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study is to analyze a term of decade of water quality data of the Mulgum intake station on the Nakdong river(dam) to find the cause of algal blooms and to set an alternative to prevent artificial lake water pollution. Our study shows that water quality changes have regular periodic regularity and there was a certain correlation between specific analytical items. According to the analysis results of each factor, the decline in precipitation was not the main reason for algal blooms. TP concentration had a slight effect on Chl-a concentration but was not a limiting nutrient of a bloom. TN concentration had a strong correlation with Chl-a and strongly negative correlation with temperature, but was not a bloom's limiting nutrient, and was only a dependent variable. As the temperature was negatively correlated with the Chl-a concentration, it is found that the aspect of the ecological influence of the temperature was the most important factor of the phytoplankton concentration change. The N/P ratio lies under a power function with a high degree of reliability by the TP concentration, and the phenomenon appeared to be the same as the results of two other comparative areas. This result confirms that TN is dependent on TP and the biota in the lake that TN is a dependent variable whose concentration is determined by TP it. In conclusion, the increase in lake bloom is the result of a food chain change, and it is necessary to control the ecosystem by the food chain in the lake in order to reduce the lake's bloom. In particular, it is important to keep the benthic ecosystem as wide as possible in the aerobic state.

        섬유공장폐수 재이용 사례:인도네시아 반둥을 대상으로

        인도네시아 반둥인근에서 발원하여 수도인 자카르타인근 해역으로 연결되는 찌따룸강(Citarum river)은 공업 용수와 먹는 물로서 인근 산업 지역과 수도 자카르타의 주요 수자원(공업용수 및 음용수)으로 이용되고 있다. 그러나, 최근 찌따룸강은 처리되지 않은 생활하수 및 섬유산업 폐수로 심각하게 오염되고 있으며, 건기에는 무분별한 지하수 개발로 인해 지하수위가 급속히 하강하는 문제가 발생하고 있다. 따라서, 본 사업에서는 반둥 인근의 섬유공장에서 발생하는 폐수를 재이용하여, 찌따룸강 오염문제와 지하수위 하강문제를 해결하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 수처리용 가압부상장치(DAF)를 개량한 공법인 선회식 가압부상장치(CYFLOAT) 시스템을 인도네시아 현장에 맞게 개선하여 100 톤/일 용량 규모로 설치 및 운전하였다. 설치한 선회식 가압부상장치 시스템은 섬유 폐수 재이용 시 가장 중요한 수질기준 중 하나인 부유물질(SS)을 약 40분의 체류 시간 동안 96.8% 제거하였을 뿐만 아니라, 공간사용 및 유지관리측면에서도 매우 유리한 것으로 확인되었다. 또한, 본 기술의 설치와 운영에 현지 관련기관들(UNPAR 및 ITB, PUSKIM)을 참여시켜, 해당 기술이 인도네시아 찌따룸강 유역의 섬유공장 밀집지역내 지속적으로 적용 가능하도록 하였다. Citarum river in West Java, Indonesia plays strategic roles for Jakarta metropolitan areas. Besides it provides major source of water supply such as domestics and drinking water including Jakarta, it also provides water for hundreds of industries through its cascade reservoirs. However, recently, Citarum river basin has been seriously suffering from water and ground-water pollution as well as the lowering-down of groundwater level due to the extreme use of water resources in dry season by domestic and industrial activities. This project objectives are design and installation of industrial wastewater treatment/ recycle facilities to overcome the problem of water pollution and the lowering-down of groundwater level in Bandung. For these, cyclone type dissolved air flotation (DAF), CYFLOAT, was successfully installed as the appropriate technology for the target textile industry with 100 ton/day of capacity. The CYFLOAT system can remove the 96.8% of particulates, which are known as a critical factor to recycle the wastewater, within 40 min of residence time. Furthermore, The CYFLOAT system can reduce the operational cost and land use. The project was carried out in strong partnership with local institute including UNPAR, IBT, and PUSKIM for the sustainability of the technology to textile industry complex in Indonesia.

        파일럿 규모의 선회식 가압부상공정에서 응집제 종류별 유해 조류 제거효율 비교

        Dissolved air flotation (DAF), one of the most representative physico-chemical processing technologies used to remove suspended particles or algae in aquatic environment. Cyclonic Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF), a dissolved air flotation method displaying improved performance, has a structure capable of forming twirling flows that produce microbubbles that adhere to suspended matter and float to the surface of the water passing through the float separation tank. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the cyclonic-DAF process for the treatment of harmful algae in aquatic environment. The effect of coagulants type, such as PAC, PolyDADMAC and R-119, were investigated. In this experiments, algaecide named as R-119 showed the effective coagulant to remove chlorophyll-a and algae. For the effect of the coagulant dose, the removal efficiency of algae was increased as coagulant concentration increased. The optimal concentration coagulant has been similarly observed at 60 mg/L for PAC and R-119. However, PAC showed that it did not meet the number of cyanobacteria cells below the algae level suggested by the algae warning guideline. In the case of PolyDADMAC, the removal of cyanobacteria cells showed excellent results, but turbidity and suspended solids were significantly lower than that of PAC and R-119.
