The fuel injection pump injects fuel into engine's cylinder with a optimal injection quantity and timing by the driver's condition and input status of vehicle sensors. The Governor and Timer of existing mechanical fuel injection pump has its control limit for the low degree of freedom. It is developed and applied by a 16-bit microprocessor and electronic governor and timer of solenoid style for electronic control in this study, so that it's injected in optimal injection quantity and timing and upgraded its degree of control.<br/>

So far the distributor type injection pump have been used mainly in IDI passenger-car engines. But very-high-speed DI engines. for light-duty commer-cial vehicles has resulted in a new area of application. For this purpose. the injection pressure and injection rate have had to be increased by a factor of 2~3. with the pump outer dimensions remaineng unchanged. This paper reports on the select methods of injection systems to achieve the high-pressurization. the stability of injection pressure and the parts design process to reinforce the stiffness according to high-pressurization.<br/>
