This study was carried out to check effect of clothing weight on the health with analysing the relationships between the clothing weight. The results obtained were as follows. 1. It apeared negative correlation between the clothing weight and antropometric measurments. And weight showed higher correlation more than hight, also total clothing weight was significantly high correlation in clothing weight. 2. It apeared negative correlation between the clothing weight and obesity, And rohrer index, body fat were closely related weth clothing weight. 3. Between the clothing weight and Cornell Medical Index was positive correlation respiratory system, digestive system were significant correlation. On the other hand upper clothing weight and total clothing weight in clothing weight were significant correlation with Cornell Medical Index.

To examine the effects of clothes upon human's physiological adaptation to the changes of climatic conditions, clothing weight was examined. The results are as follows; 1. According to the change in temperature, the total, upper and outer clothing weight showed remarked change. Clothing weight change was greatest between the July and October, the change was greater in the coast land and the girl students. 2. The clothing weight tends to be light under outdoor in both regions in all seasons except in July, it is remarked in inland and December. 3. The correlation between Ro¨hrer Index, Body Fat and clothing weight was recognized to be significantly reversed. 4. Positive correlation between health conditions and clothing weight was recognized in December. 5. The correlation between exercise hours and clothing weight was negatively significant in December.

This study was carried out to investigate the effect of clothing habit on physiological adaptation to the change of season. The survey of clothing weight in fall & winter for 2 years, the frequency of cold infection in winter and degree of fatigue was performed with 110 female high school students. The actual condition of clothing and the correlations between clothing weight and cold infection, and between the clothing weight and degree of fatigue were suveyed. The results are followed as; 1. The clothing insulation was nearly same to indoor standard clothing insulation in H kun wearing normal clothing, but was higher 2 clo in S kun clothed uniform. Especially in spite of similar enviromental condition the clothing weight, minimum & maximum and variation of clothing weight for 2 years were showed to be heavier in S kun than H kun. Also indoor thermal sensation felt by the subjects indicated "cold", and the difference between clothing insulation and standard clothing insulation showed increase gradually. 2. L group was indicated to be lower in cold infaction ratio than M & H group, and the correlation between clothing group and cold infection ratio was recognized to be significant (p<0.05). And H kun and L-H group showed to be lower in cold infection ratio than S kun, H-L group. 3. The coefficience between clothing weight and degree of fatigue was recognized to be significant (p<0.05).

In order to understand role for seasonal adaptation of clothing one of the methods of human cultural adaptation, a survey on daily clothes worn by boy and girl high schooler was carried out and from viewpoint such as Clothing weight, materials, shape and style was investigated. The results were as follows; 1. The variation of clothing weight was accorded with seasonal change temperature, also outerclothing weight and upper clothing weight showed remarkable variation on change of environmental temperature. 2. It was showed sex difference in clothing weight in each season, the clothing weight was higher for female than male except April. 3. Material was little changed on season and had nothing to do with seasonal adaptation. 4. There was tendency of the open neck line to increase in July and of the close neck line to increase in December in both sexes.

The solubility, heats of solutinn in poly (ethylene terephthalate) and solvents such as hexane, cyclohexane, perchloroethylene and water have been investigated for disperse dye, C. I. Disperse Violet 1. The resultant values were applid to regular solution theory concerning solution parameter concept. The results obtained are as follows. The dye solubility in the solvent is higher in the order of the large difference in dye and solvent solubility parameters, but the heat of solution is adversely. The equilibrium up-take for dye is higher in the order of the large difference in solvent and poly (ethylene terephthalate) solubility parameter.
