포스트휴먼 시대에서의 인간성과 기술의 관계 변화와 기독교 사회윤리적 책임에 관한 논의 -포스트휴머니즘 사상들의 비판과 헤프너의 “하나님의 형상론”을 중심으로

이 논문의 목적은 포스트휴먼의 시대에 인간과 기술의 관계를 논의하기 위한 것이다. 먼저 종래의 기술에 대해 부정적인 기독교의 인식의 문제점을 인지하고 기술에 대한 긍정적인 포스트휴먼사상들을 기독교의 관점에서 검토한 후에 이를 극복할 신학적 대안을 하나님의 형상론에서 찾는 방식으로 논의를 진행하였다. 그 결과 이성적 기술의 발전을 통해 인간의 한계를 넘어 불멸을 추구하는 트랜스 휴머니즘은 인간중심주의와 유한성 거부의 문제가 드러났고 인간의 유한성은 인정하지만 인간과 기술의 경계를 넘어 사이보그가 된다거나 기술을 포함한 모든 것과의 체현적 주체성을 확립하려는 비판적 휴머니즘은 각각의 장점에도 불구하고 인간의 주체적 역할의 모호함과 개체와 집단의 조화, 사회 정치적 현실과의 연관에 문제점을 드러내었다. 이를 극복하기 위해 헤프너의 하나님 형상론을 도입하였고 그 결과 하나님과 생태계와 기술과의 관계를 잘 드러내는 사상임이 밝혀지고 이에 대한 비판들도 섭리론으로 이겨내면서 이를 통해 우리는 창조된 인간이 인간 이외의 타자를 돌봄을 창조자 하나님이 주신 임무로 알고 기술과의 바른 관계를 통해 하나님의 선하신 뜻을 실현시킬 사회윤리적 책임을 다해야 함을 알게 되었다. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the relationship between human and technology in the posthuman era. Recognizing the problem with conventional negative perception and examining the positive posthuman thoughts on technology, both from a Christian perspective, imago dei found a theological alternative to these views. As a result, transhumanism, which pursues immortality beyond human limits through the development of technology, revealed the problem of anthropocentrism and rejection of human finiteness. Although human finiteness is recognized, critical humanism, which identifies cyborg beyond the boundary between human and technology and seeks to establish embodied subjectivity with everything, revealed problems in ambiguity of the subjective role of humans. It also revealed that we are unable to harmonize individuals and groups to connect with social and political reality, despite their respective merits. In order to overcome this, Hefner’s concept about imago dei was introduced, and consequently, it was proved that it is an idea that shows the relationship between God, the ecosystem and technology well. I came to a conclusion that humans have to fulfill our socio-ethical responsibility to realize God’s good will through a right relationship with technology and caring for creation was a mission given by God the creator.
