대학도서관의 자원공유의 장벽에 대한 이해관계자 분석

전통적인 상호대차와 원문복사 서비스와 같은 도구를 통해 이용자의 정보요구를 충족시키는 것은 제한적이며 보다 심층적인 자원공유의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 본 연구는 정보공유에 관련된 선행 연구를 분석을 통해 장애요인을 도출하고 정보공유와 관련된 이해관계자에 대한 분석을 제공하고 있다. 자원공유의 활성화와 관련하여 가장 중요한 이해관계자라고 여겨지는 사서의 인식을 보다 구체적으로 이해하기 위해 국내 대학에서 자원공유 관련서비스를 담당하는 실무사서 6명과의 면담을 수행하였다. 면담을 통해 규모가 큰 대학이 반드시 자원공유에 적극적이고 활발하게 서비스를 하고 있지는 않다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 무엇보다 자원공유에 대한 도서관간의 문화적 차이 그리고 담당 사서들의 태도에서 큰 간격이 있었다. 특히 연구에 대한 협소한 정의와 기관 규모의 불균형으로 인한 업무 폭주에 대한 부정적인 인식이 있었다. 전반적으로 자원공유를 새로운 차원에서 활성화시킬 수 있는 적극성이나 비전을 발견하기는 어려웠지만 자원공유 관련 서비스가 도서관에서 중요한 서비스로 인식되고 있고 담당자의 관심과 태도에 따라 발전의 가능성이 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 자원공유의 활성화, 보다 심층적이고 부가가치적인 자원공유 서비스를 창출하려면 먼저 사서들의 적극적인 개입이 요구되고 이를 위해 지역별, 주제별 사서 커뮤니티의 활성화가 필요하다. There is a recognition that traditional resource sharing methods such as interlibrary lending and document delivery are now inadequate to meet user needs in the increasingly networked environment. The current study identifies barriers to resource sharing and provides analysis of stakeholders engaged in resource sharing. Focused interviews with six professional librarians were also carried out to seek out deeper understanding of perceptions of barriers among librarians. Results show that the size of the library was not necessarily result in active resource sharing. There was a wide gap among librarians in terms of their attitudinal and organizational orientations towards resource sharing. Barriers specifically identified in the study include the narrowly defined notion among librarians of what constitutes research and the untested fear of swamping where there is an imbalance of collections. Overall, while resource sharing is recognized as an integral part of library services, it seriously lacks funding and staff. The study recommends earnest efforts to build librarians' community to invigorate resource sharing among libraries.

주제전담사서 양성을 위한 사서 재교육 프로그램의 개발에 관한 연구

Among university librarians and academic community in Korea, there has been constant debate on the need for subject librarianship and the restructuring of educational programs. The debate has not resulted in substantive change so far. Recently, as several university libraries have begun to implement subject librarian service, there is a growing need to reeducate practicing librarians for such service. Recognizing that the liaison service model best fits the reality of academic libraries, this article proposes curriculum development goals and strategies, and specific course listings for the training of subject liaison librarians. We also suggest specific conditions requisite for such education programs fully develop in the future. 본 연구는 현직 사서들을 대상으로 주제전담사서제를 기획하고 실행할 수 있는 재교육 과정을 제시하는 것이다. 국내 대학도서관의 주제사서제의 필요성 및 교육체계의 변경에 대한 주장은 많이 제기되고 왔지만 큰 변화는 일어나지 않았다. 최근 몇몇 대학도서관에서 주제서비스를 시행하게 되면서 주제사서서비스에 대한 관심이 고조되었고 현직 사서들을 대상으로 하는 재교육의 필요성이 제기되었다. 본 연구는 국내외 현황을 바탕으로 향후 리에종 사서제가 현실에 적합하다는 분석을 통해 주제전담사서 양성 과정의 목표, 교유과정의 개발 전략을 수립하고 구체적인 교육 내용을 제시하였다. 향후 주제전담사서 양성 과정이 보다 성숙해지려면 교육 기관의 다양화, 교육 프로그램의 전문화 및 표준화, 다양한 교육 과정의 개발, 그리고 대학도서관에서의 참고봉사 서비스가 활성화 되어야 한다.

우리나라 그림책 서평의 변천과정 분석

본 연구는 국내에서 그림책의 서평의 변천과정을 공공도서관의 발달과 그림책 서평을 수록하고 있는 잡지의 등장시기, 서평의 발행주체와 주요 작성자를 중심으로 분석하였다. 시기별로 1980년대는 성인도서 위주의 전문서평지가 발간되기 시작하며, 1990년대는 어린이도서연구회와 같은 시민단체의 활동이 활발하였다. 2000년대 전반기는 독서관련 단체가 계속 활발히 활동하며 신문사의 북 섹션과 출판사 발행 문학잡지 내에 그림책 서평을 활발히 발간하기 시작하였다. 2000년대 중반 이후부터 최근까지는 공공도서관이 많이 건립되었으며 사서들이 서평 작성자로 등장한 것이 큰 특징이다. This article chronicles the development of picture book reviews in Korea by analyzing the development of public libraries, emergence of magazines that feature reviews of picture books, and characteristics of reviewers. During the 1980s, a new wave of specialized book review magazines emerged. 1990s witnessed the proliferation of civic organizations that cater to children's books and promotion of reading. During the first half of 2000's, a number of daily newspapers added book sections and literature journals began actively producing picture book reviews. In the second half of the 2000's, the number of public libraries in Korea increased significantly and librarians have emerged as picture book reviewers.

공공도서관 이용가치에 영향을 미치는 요인

본 연구에서는 국내 공공도서관의 이용가치에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 이용자의 진술을 통해 가치가 도출되는 CVM을 이용한 측정에서 응답자의 특성, 도서관의 특성과 같은 다양한 변인들이 미치는 영향들을 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국내외 공공도서관의 가치측정 연구에서 밝혀진 영향변인들을 분석하였고 여기서 나타난 영향요인들의 특성을 파악하였다. 도서관의 가치를 나타내는 지불의사액에 많은 영향을 미치는 요인은 이용자의 성별, 수입, 연령, 수입과 같은 인구통계학적 특성과 이용빈도, 방문소요시간과 같은 이용형태이다. 만족도와 인식 영역에서는 정보, 시설, 프로그램의 세가지 서비스 유형에 따라 사서의 만족도, 주민교류의 장, 경제적 도움 정도, 문화예술지원자에 대한 인식이 영향을 미치고 있었다. 이 연구는 국내 모든 유형의 공공도서관을 대상으로 측정한 가치에 미치는 영향력을 포괄적으로 분석함으로써 지역과 규모별로 이용자가 평가하는 가치의 속성에 대한 정보를 제공하였다. 이러한 정보는 향후 도서관의 가치를 높이기 위한 전략적인 정책수립에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다. In this study, the factor that affect use value of domestic public library was analysed. This study try to grasp the effect of various variables such as characteristics of the respondent and library through the measurement using CVM that extract the value by the user's statement. For this purpose, effective variables identified in the value measurement study of domestic and foreign public library was grasped and characteristics of the effective variables presented in the study examined. The factor influenced WTP representing library's value are the demographic characteristics such as gender, income, age and the using pattern such as frequency of use, time to visit. As to user's satisfaction and recognition, the recognition about librarian's satisfaction, place for resident's exchange, degree of financial support, culture-art volunteers are affecting depending on the service such as information, facilities and programs. The study comprehensively analysed the impact on the value measured by all types of public library in the nation and provided the information about property of value assessed by user according to region and scale. This information is expected to help the strategic policy making to enhance the value of library in the future.

전신 질환에 의한 가려움증의 원인 및 기전에 관한 최신 동향

Pruritus is a sensation that evokes a desire to scratch the skin. In particular, pruritus can be a burden for affected people when it becomes severe and chronic, as it deteriorates the quality of life. Dermatological diseases such as atopic dermatitis are mostly recognized as major pruritus-related disorders. Surprisingly, some non-dermatological systemic diseases can also evoke pruritus. In this review, we summarized the underlying causes and mechanisms of three nondermatological pruritus-related systemic diseases: including chronic kidney disease, cholestatic liver disease, and neoplasm. In addition, recent research observations and novel therapeutic strategies are discussed.

카나비노이드 수용체 활성화 및 TRPV1 억제를 통한 arachidonoyl-serotonin (AA-5-HT)의 진통 효과

Pain is a noxious sensation caused by tissue damage, which can severely interfere with a person’s quality of life. Although numerous analgesics are available for eradicating pain, there remain limitations in terms of safety and efficacy. This review focuses on arachidonoyl-serotonin (AA-5-HT) − an endogenous lipid with a putative antinociceptive effect. After detailed investigation, previous studies have revealed that AA-5-HT can stimulate the cannabinoid system, which results in the inhibition of pain sensation. Moreover, AA-5-HT can inhibit the action of TRPV1, which is a nonselective cation channel that mediates pain signals in the nervous system. This dual effect makes AA-5-HT a potentially safe and potent analgesic. This review summarizes the roles of the cannabinoid system and TRPV1 in pain sensation, and the function of AA-5-HT in pain modulation.
