이 논문은 2005년 한국 문단의 일대 사건이라 할 수 있는 ‘미래파’의 발생을 사회학적으로 파악함으로써 IMF 위기 이후 한국 사회의 문화변동의 문법을 읽는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해서 우리는 다음과 같은 세 가지의 주된 테마를 다룬다. 첫째, 미래파의 시학적 특징을 그들의 탈(脫)서정적 경향에서 찾고 이를 구체적으로 점검한다. 둘째, 미래파 시인의 역사철학적 상황을 오타쿠의 그것과 비교하면서, 거대서사의 조락 혹은 진정성 에토스의 소멸 이후의 시적 흐름을 ‘시의 동물화’로 규정한다. 셋째, 미래파 비평의 핵심적 전략을 바디우의 ‘실재의 열정’으로 파악하고, 미래파 비평을 이런 실재의 열정이 불가능한 시대에 실재의 열정을 여전히 중요한 지향으로 유지하려는 ‘실재의 열정에 대한 열정’의 소산으로 파악한다. This paper aims at sociological investigation of the emergence of "Miraepa" in 2005. Miraepa is seen by critics as a group of poets who write poetries radically different in both form and content from the previous poetic styles. We endeavor to identify the linkage between the emergence of Miraepa and broad cultural change after IMF crisis. To this end, first, we see that the main characteristic of Miraepa poetry is "post-lyric poetry". Second, by relating its historico-philosophical situation with that of Otaku of which subjectivity emerged after the demise of master narrative or authenticity ethos, we argue that at the core of Miraepa's poetry is the animalization of poetry. Third, we argue that critics who positively read Miraepa's poetry draw on the notion of "passion of the real" borrowed from Alain Badiou. However, we see that critics' positive response to Miraepa is the product of "the passion of the passion of the real" that is to retain "the passion of the real", which is, in fact, impossible given the historico-philosophical situation of our time.
