This study revealed that most of the existing studies focused on metropolitan area and apartment houses as their research object to examine residents" dwelling preference. It has reached the limits that they researched more variety dwelling preference more than specific tendency in some areas. Therefore, this study presents dwelling preference in local small and medium-sized cities in comparison with metropolitan cities. According to survey, when the residents in research area make a decision for their housing, they valued those attributes like environment(neighborship), ownership(own house), convenience and accessibility(education), housing types(Multi-family housing), housing structure(individuality), economical efficiency(higher income) in order. Reviewing major samples through the variables, each group of samples were analyzed that there was considerable difference between housing preference on each group of resident. And especially, the most definite variable was an income level. Moreover, among the variables, residents" income level has been widely influenced on housing preference decision in small and medium-sized cities. This study consider itself there are respectively many dwelling preference in each local area. It is desirable that make a reasonable dwelling site development based on the results of this study reviewing tendency of a variety of dwelling preference and comparison with local cities" case study.
Wilks Lamda 방법을 이용한 화학센서 어레이 최적화

Optimizing the performance of a composite sensor array is necessary when the number of sensors to choose from is large. In this paper, we present a chemical sensors array optimization method using Wilks Lamda algorithm applicable a device to detect low concentration of alcohol from driver’s exhale breath for interlocking engine ignition preventing drink-driving. More than 20 chemical sensors fabricated different synthetic stuffs and heater temperatures by collaborators were nominated, 5 sensors were selected for optimal sensors array using the method, and alcohol samples were well discriminated from the interference gases inside the vehicle. It has been confirmed by Principal Component Analysis (PCA).
