Automobile hybrid systems combine two motive power sources, such as an internal combustion and electric motor achieving different functions through different power combinations. Hybrid systems possess the following three characteristics: Energy-loss reduction(idling stop), Energy recovery and reuse(charge), Motor assist. However, there is no an accurate domestic EMC regulation for Hybrid Vehicle. This research is to confirm whether the broadband emission radiated from Hybrid Vehicle can be measured following domestic regulation. We found that test conditions and methods of an internal combustion engine could not be applied due to SOC and driving mode. As a result of this test, we can expect that this research will be used by reference guide in order to revise test specification.

By domestic regulation, electromagnetic emission test is intended to measure the broadband emission generated by electrical or electronic systems fitted to the vehicle. All these systems capable of generating broadband emissions which can be switched on permanently by the driver or passenger should be in operation in normal mode. However cool ing fan could not be controlled arbitrarily by driver or passenger but operated automatically according to electronic control unit. For that reason the research was conducted to compare fan running and no operating of fan. We can find the maximum 30 ㏈ difference at any frequencies. As a result of this test, we can reflect that this research is to be used reference guide for test condition.
