The objectives of this thesis are to investigate and study the present status of the selection of science courses in high school for the Wonkwang University applicants who belong to natural science education group. It is pointed out that the reason and the trend of the preference for the science courses are originated from the education for the extrance examination as a result of the comparison and analysis of the data. The problems which must be solved in the present science education are found out and the suggestions are made for the right direction for the future science education in high school.

This purpose, 400 female and male university students in Suwon were examined, and, though 4 of them were excluded because of insincerity or omission, 396 respondents were finally analyzed. The questionnaires are using questions verified through precedent study, and respondents are to make answers with Self-administration method to surveyors who were trained before. The result of this follow; First, there are statistically meaningful differences between sport star player and celebrity as a model. In professionalism and credibility, a celebrity model is positive, but in attractiveness, a sport star player is positively recognized. Second, A sport star player is positively recognized in all aspect, advertising manner, product attitude, and purchase intention. Third, The both professional characteristics are most largely affected in advertising manner and product attitude. Otherwise, in purchase intension, sport star player model largely influenced with his or her professionalism, but celebrity model did with his or her attractiveness. Forth, according to statistics, both advertising manner and product attitude are meaningfully related with purchase intention of the product.
