        흑연을 분산시킨 Al-Si 합금의 유동성에 (流動性) 관한 연구

        The spiral fluidity of graphite-dispersed Al-Si alloys has been investigated as a function of contents of Si and graphite, and of particle size of graphite. The dispersion of uncoated graphite is carred out by the vortex process of preheat-treated graphite into molten metal. The fluidity of hyper-eutectic Al-Si alloys is observed to the better than that of hypo-eutectic ones. In the case of graphite-dispersed Al-Si alloys they fluidity increases in hypo-eutectic alloys and decreases in hyper-eutectic ones in comparison with that of the corresponding undispersed alloys. Fluidity decreases with an increase of amount of dispersed graphite particles and inversely proportional to the total surface area of graphite particles.

        Al-Si 합금의 마멸특성에 (磨滅特性) 미치는 조성의 영향

        The Wear Characteristics of Al-Si alloys were investigated with various Si contents by using the not-dispersed alloys and uncoated-graphite dispersed alloys. Uncoated-graphite dispersions were accomplished by Vortex method carrying 1 hr. heating at 400℃ on uncoated-graphite. Wear loss were increased by increasing Si contents at the elevated final load. Hyper-eutectic alloys showed higher wear resistance values at the small final load of 2.1㎏ and 3.2㎏, but at the more increased final load, hypo-eutectic alloys showed higher wear resistance values than hyper-eutectic alloys. The property of wear resistance of uncoated-graphite dispersed Al-Si alloys showed more good values than not-dispersed alloys. This peroperty of increased war resistance were resulted from lubricating action of dispersed graphite.

        The purpose of metal working(1) laboratories of a technical high school curriculum is to prepare the student efficient work performance in the field of foundry engineering. In order to achieve this purpose, a teaching guide book should be written by the teacher in actual charge of the course under consideration, needs of local industry, practice -equipment of schools and students pre-condition. In this study, the process of development of metal working (1) laboratory is investigated and a teaching guide book for melting operation of cast iron was developed. When a teaching guide book is developed, the following items are necessary to be taken into account: 1) Setting up practice-plan, job analysis of the section should be done and the operations plan to be developed step by step. 2) Student arrangement for each job should be planned. 3) The teacher should provides the subject-library with work-standard and require prelimihome work about each job. 4) The teacher should prepare audio-visual aid to as to understand the relationship between theory and practice. 5) A teaching guide book includes ⅰ) preliminary home-work relative to each operation, ⅱ) the point of observation and recording form, ⅲ) the point of discussion after practice, ⅳ) the evaluation standard.

      • CV黑鉛鑄鐵의 磨滅特性에 미치는 Mn 및 Ni 微量添加의 影響

        The Influences of small additions of Mn, Ni and holding time after spheroidization treatment on the wear characteristics of CV graphite cast iron are studied. The main results are summarized as follows. 1) The graphite form of cast iron shows spheroidal type, CV type and flake type with increasing holding time after spheroidization treatment of melt. The graphite form does not change with increasing amounts of Mn and Ni. 2) The hardness and tensile strength of cast iron increase with increasing amounts of Mn and Ni contents. 3) The change in wear mechanism for CV graphite cast iron shows abrasive wear, corrosive wear and adhesive wear with increasing wear speed. 4) Wear resistance of spheroidal graphite cast iron shows the highest value of-all, and CV graphite cast iron shows greater value than flake graphite cast iron. The wear loss of Mn, Ni added CV graphite cast iron decreases with increasing amounts of additives.
