        The purpose of this study is to arrange the pre-existing theories and assertions with regard to the characteristics of cross-cultural education. Also it includes comparative analyzing of the actual situation and the characteristics of cross-cultural education in the three major Korean Groups and in conclusion it proposes the new direction for the cross-cultural education. The content and characteristics of cross-cultural education are as follows, First, Learning new cultural value, customs and behaviors. Second, Education which enhance the ability to work together with the people with different cultural backgrounds. Third, Targeting to develop the ability of the dispatched employee. Fourth, Education should be performed on the premise that the participants can accomplish their understanding of the designated country. Direction for cross-cultural education. First, Performing the education consisted of both theory and actual situation. Second, Need to enforce the cross-cultural education for the employees related with overseas business. Third, Need to perform the education for the family which are scheduled to be dispatched to overseas countries. Fourth, Need to establish Society of Cross-cultural Education and to bringing up the specialists in cross-culture education.
