본 연구의 목적은 Gibson(1979)의 어포던스 이론을 적용하여 도시공간의 물리적 환경의 특성으로 인해 여가 행동을 유발하는 어포던스를 심층적으로 이해하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 경의선 숲길 공원과 놀이터는 주로 ‘설계된’ 직접적 행동유도 여가 어포던스의 특성을 나타내면서 일부 ‘즉흥적’ 간접적 행동지원 어포던스 특성을 나타내고, 골목길은 주로 ‘창발적’ 잠재적 행동유발 여가 어포던스의 특성을 나타내면서 일부 ‘즉흥적’ 간접적 행동지원 어포던스 특성을 나타내고 있었다. 이러한 결과에서 공원은 기본적인 조성 목적인 ‘설계된’ 직접적 행동유도 여가 어포던스와 관련이 있고 공원과 연결되는 골목길은 ‘창발적’ 잠재적 행동유발 여가 어포던스의 특성을 나타내면서 중요한 여가공간으로 작동하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. The purpose of this study was to apply Gibson (1979)'s Affordance theory to understand in depth the characteristics of the physical environment the factors that cause leisure behavior in urban space. The results of the study are as follows. Gyeongui Line Forest Road Park and Playground mainly showed the characteristics of 'designed' direct action-inducing leisure attractions, while alleyways mainly showed the characteristics of 'improvised' potential action-inducing leisure attractions. These results show that parks are associated with 'designed' direct action-inducing leisure attractions for basic construction purposes, and that the alleys connected to the park serve as important leisure spaces, indicating the nature of 'emergent' potential action-inducing leisure attractions.
