Cyclohexane-NaCl salt solution-pyridine계에서 UNIQUAC 모델에 의한 액-액 평형 및 염효과에 관한 연구

The experimental binodal curves and tie lines were determined for cyclohexane-NaCl salt solution-pyridine systems at 25℃, and those tie line data were used to test thermodynamic consistency. The NaCl salt solutions were prepared with aqueous solution of 5%, 10% and 15% NaCl salts respectively. The experimental tie line data were correlated with he UNIQUAC model, and the parameters and the calculated values of tie were predicted. The effect of salt addition on liquid-liquid equilibria was also studied along with the increment of salt concentration.

The experimental tie line data were correlated with NRTL model, and the parameters in NRTL model and the calculated values of tie lines were predicted. The plait point were calculated by NRTL model for the ternary systems of pyridine-water with monochlorobenzene, o-xylene and aniline as solvents at 25℃. The selectivity curves in the equilibrium of ternary systems compared with experimental data and values calculated using NRTL model.

The experimental binodal curves and tie lines were determined for solvent-5% KF salt solution-1 propanol systems at 25℃, and those tie line data were used to test thermodynamic consistency. Binodal curves for monochlorobenzene (1) - water (2) -acetonitrile (3) and monochlorobenzene (1) - 5% CaCl₂ salt solution (2) - acetonitrile (3) were determined 25℃, 40℃, 55℃, respectively. From these binodal curves, tie line and plait point were determined. When the temperature in crease, the binodal curve is reduced for monochlorobenzene (1) - water (2) - acetonitrile (3) system but monochlorobenzene (1) - 5% CaCl₂ salt solution (2) - acetonitrile (3) is increased binodal curve. The consistencies of experimental phase equilibrium data were tested using Othmer-Tobias equation. The parameters in the modified UNIQUAC model and the calculated phase equilibrium data were predicted. The distribution were determined for monochlorobenzene (1) - water (2) - acetonitrile (3) and monochlorobenzene (1) - 5% CaCl₂ salt solution (2) - acetonitrile (3) at 25℃, 40℃, 55℃, respectively.

Binodal curves for solvent(1)-NaCl salt solution(2)-n-propyl alcohol(3) were measured to predict salts effect on ternary solvent(1)-water(2)-n-propyl alcohol(3) without NaCl salt at 25℃, Tie lines were determined from these bimodal curves, and consistency for these data was tested by correlating with Eisen-Joffe equation. NaCl salt solutions were prepared for 5%, 15%, weight percent respectively. It was assumed that quaternany liquid-liquid equilibria with salt were converted to ternary liquid-liquid equilibria without salt if salt were excluded. The bimodal curves with NaCl salt were compared to bimodal curve without NaCl salt. The parameters in the NRTL model and the calculated values of tie line were predicted. Quaternary distribution curves were determined for each salt concentration and salts effect on ternary system were examined.

Binodal curve and liquid-liquid equilibrium for the system ethyl acetate-water-acetonitrile have been measured at 4℃. From these binodal curves, plait point were determined. The experimental data presented in this paper are correlated in terms of the UNIQUAC and modified UNIQUAC models and the relevant parameters are presented. The consistencies of experimental phase equilibrium data were testes using Eisen-Joffe equation. The selectivity were determined for ethyl acetate-water-acetonitrile at 4℃.
