        폴리부틸렌 나프탈레이트를 하드 세그먼트로 하는 폴리(에테르-에스터) 공중합체의 합성

        Melting temperature of the poly(ether-ester) copolymers are generally around $200^{\circ}C$ and are suitable for moisture barrier in active sportswear, but higher melting temperatures are required for them to be used in personal protective clothing. In an attempt to obtain higher melting poly(ether-ester) copolymers, copolymerization of bishydroxybutyl naphthalate and poly(ethylene glycol)-b-poly(propylene glycol)-b-poly(ethylene glycol) tri-block copolymers (EPE) was carried out to obtain poly(butylene 2,6-naphthalate)/EPE copolymers with poly(butylene 2,6-naphthalate) (PBN) as hard segments and EPE as soft segments. PBN/EPE copolymers containing different amounts of EPE (0, 5, 10, 20 and 30 wt%) of different molecular weights (1100, 2000, 2800 and 5800) were prepared. Composition analysis, solution viscosity and density measurements were made. The composition of copolymers determined from $^1H$-NMR spectra were similar to feed composition.

        N-isopropylacrylamide의 그라프트에 의한 아크릴 섬유의 표면개질

        Acrylic fibers were graft-copolymerized with N-isopropylacrylamide in aqueous media, using a radical initiator, benzoyl peroxide. The grafting reactions were carried out within the $75{\sim}85^{\circ}C$ temperature range, and the effects of initiator, monomer concentration, and the amount of fiber on the graft yield were also investigated. The maximum graft yield of 88.6% was reached when grafting was carried out at the benzoyl peroxide concentration of $2{\times}10^{-3}mol/l$, the N-isopropylacrylamide concentration of 0.5 mol/l, for 8 hours at $80^{\circ}C$. The grafted fibers were characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and thermogravimetry. Scanning electron micrographs showed that homogeneous fiber surface changed to shell-like heterogeneous appearance with increase in degree of grafting. Fiber diameter also increased with graft yield. Moreover, moisture regain and water absorptivity of the grafted fiber were highly enhanced by grafting. The results on the response of grafted acrylic fibers to pH and heat are presented.

        Poly(MAn-co-VAc)를 이용한 면섬유의 반응성 염색에 대한 방염효과

        Poly(maleic anhydride-co-vinyl acetate) copolymers were prepared by copolymerization in toluene, using AIBN as initiator. Cotton knit fabric was treated with poly(MAn-co-VAc) and the changes in the dye resist property with molecular weight, concentration and curing time was studied. The dye resist ability was evaluated by colorimetric analysis. Higher molecular weight copolymers were more efficient in blocking the dye. This appears to be due to the preferential reaction of the copolymer on the surface of cotton fabric, where the longer chains are more efficient in blocking the penetration of the dye into the fiber, due to the hydrophobic nature of the vinyl acetate comonomer. The blocking effect increased with concentration of the blocking agent padding bath, but yellowing occurred at concentrations above 30 wt%. Although dye resist effect was best when curing time of poly(MAn-co-VAc) was 2 min 30 see, the cotton fabric turned yellowish. Therefore, curing time should be less than 2 min 15 sec in order to avoid yellowing effect and obtain good dye resist property.

        편평배부 증후군 환자에 대한 교정운동 프로그램이 척추 구조, 목 장애지수 및 균형 능력에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: This study aims to compare and analyze the effect of a 12-weke corrective exercise program on the structural variables of spinal curvature, neck disability index and balance ability in patients with flat back. Method: In this study, 24 patients with flat back participated, and they were randomly divided into three group; corrective exercise group (CEG: n=8), resistance exercise group (REG; n=8), and physical therapy group (PTG: n=8). The CEG and REG performed corrective exercise3 times per week and 70 minutes at a time for 12 weeks and REG conducted the exercise with thera-band. The variables of spinal curves included cervical lordosis, thoracic kyphosis, and lumbar lordosis were measured by X-ray test. The function of the neck was checked using a questionnaire with a neck disability index. The balance ability was measured by a balance machine and the test was conducted before and after exercise intervention for 12 weeks. Results: The results of this study are as follows. The cervical lordosis angle showed significant differences in both group and period, interactions p(<.001). Significant differences were found in CEG p(<.001), at each group period, (p<.05) in the groups (p<.001), as a result of paired t-test, REG and PTG, and in CEG and PTG (p<.001) post-testing. Thoracic kyphosis angle showed significant differences in both group and period, interactions (p<.001). Significant differences were found in CEG (p<.001), at each group period (p<.01) in the groups (p<.05), as a result of paired t-test, REG and PTG, and in CEG and PTG (p<.001) post-testing. The lumbar lordosis angle showed significant differences in both group and period, interactions (p<.001). Significant differences were found in PTG (p<.001) and CEG (p<.001) levels in each group, and (p<.001) levels between groups. As a result of paired t-test, REG and PTG, and in CEG and PTG (p<.001) post-testing. The neck disability index showed significant differences in both group and period, interactions(p<.001). At the time of each group, there were significant differences in PTG (p<.05), REG (p<.01), and CEG (p<.001) levels. Between groups (p<.001), there was a significant difference between CEG and PTG as a result of post-mortem examination (p<.05). The balance ability was found to be significant in the interaction between group and timing, timing (p<.001), and group main effect (p<.05). In each group period, significant differences were found in REG (p<.01), among groups (p<.001), compared with REG and PTG, and compared with CEG and REG (p<.01). Conclusion: The corrective exercise program is a more effective exercise intervention than resistance or physical therapy on the spinal curvature and the improvement of spinal curvature was associated with improving neck function and the ability of body balance although resistance exercise showed improvement of these variables. Therefore, corrective exercise is recommended as the most effective intervention to improve spinal curve, neck function, and the ability of body balance in patients with flat back.

        12주간 유산소 운동이 당뇨병 노인여성의 염증지표에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of aerobic exercise for 12-week on blood inflammation markers in over age 60 elderly women patients with diabetes mellitus. Fourteen elderly women were divided into the following 2 groups; (1) control group(n=7), exercise group(n=7). Elderly women were subjected to aerobic exercise for 3day a week for 12 weeks. The statistical results showed the methods that were used which were two-way repeated ANOVA. The results are as follows. There was no significant difference in the categories of Glucose, HDL-C, CRP, Fibrinogen, WBC, ESR, and Triglyceride within two groups. The exercise groups decreased than the control groups in the categories of Glucose, HDL-C, CRP, Fibrinogen, WBC, ESR, and Triglyceride. The control groups decreased than the exercise groups in the concentration of total cholesterol. This results was made certain that control the blood sugar and low the blood lipid for elderly on aerobic exercise. Besides, We will be effective the blood vessel inflammation markers and prevent the diabetes mellitus As doing the aerobic exercise.
