It is necessary to possess internal forces exceed internal forces of each member for steel structures display needed capacity, and this is a premise for design. Maximum internal forces become an index premise plasticity of composed members. Recently, many studies have performed to evaluate this. In this study, we are going to evaluate internal forces of L-shape joint element. Yield line theory apply to evaluation of internal forces. Yield line theory originated in plastic analysis of general plates has an advantage which it presents evaluation formula of internal forces. In this study, first of all, we present internal forces evaluation formula of yield line, plastic zone, yield line or plastic zone which has curvature, and using this, evaluate differences between L-shaped joint element which has rib and L-shaped joint element which does not has rib using connection of steel structures.
