This study presents a methodology for estimating indicated torque and load torque. The proposed method which uses a cylinder pressure sensor has the advantage of simplicity, because it can eliminate the requirement of a complex indicated torque model and estimation algorithm for engine torque estimation. Futhermore, it is accurate and robust against the variations that affects the torque production such as spark timing, mass air flow and others. The indicated torque is estimated from the peak pressure and its location, and the load torque is observed by the state observer based on the estimated indicated torque. The proposed torque estimation method may be a feasible alternative to the use of engine torque maps in a modem torque-based engine management system and provide some ideas for many application areas such as engine diagnostics and traction control via engine torque control.
粒狀 메디아를 充塡한 浸漬濾床法의 反應器 特性에 관한 硏究

The factor which are dominant for wastewater treatment efficiency in submerged biofilter filled with granular media has been considered variously. But, aeration tank, the shape of reactor, the diameter of media, recycle ratio and BOD loadings are important factors. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of the shape of aeration tank and reactor, the diameter of media, recycle ratio and the BOD loadings. The obtained results are as follows; 1. When the air flow rate in aeration tank was changed from 100 ℓ /hr. ℓ to 500 ℓ /hr. ℓ and H/D was 3.1 to 29.7, Considering of power and power efficiency, the most appropriate H/D and air flow rate was 13.9 and 300 ℓ /hr. ℓ, respectively. 2. The dispersion number was from 1.5×10 exp (-2) to 10.4×10 exp (-2) and then flow pattern in reactor was the intermediate of the plug flow and complete mixing. 3. Theoretical recycle ratio for oxygen demand in reactor was 19.3, but experimental result was 30. 4. Under the experimental condition of the recycle ratio of over 30, H/D of 12 and the BOD loadings below 2.0㎏/ ㎡. d, the effluent BOD_5 of the system was satisfied the effluent standard. 5. When the diameter of media and the ratio of height to diameter of reactor(H/D) were 11.1㎜ and 12, respectively, removal efficiency was the highest value of 92%
