본 논문은 불교대학운영의 유형과 개선점 그리고 포교실천의 기술과 그 적용을 다룬 것이다. 불교대학운영을 통해 포교를 효과적이고 효율적으로 진행하기 위한 실천기술에 대한 방법을 제시하고자 한데서 비롯되었다. 연구의 자료는 주로 현존 사이트나 불교대학 포교자료를 참조하였다. 그 내용을 살펴보면, 현재의 불교대학은 대한불교조계종의 승인여부, 과정시간, 운영방법, 주체자와 장소, 독립과 종속 불교대학, 강의전담과 주지스님 위주의 불교대학으로 구분할 수 있다. 불교대학은 서로 동반자적 관계에서 운영해야 하며, 불교대학운영을 개선책으로서 불교대학사이트의 실시간적 대응, 불교대학 실무자와 교수진, 프로그램의 바른 선택, 다양한 콘텐츠를 마련한 상호작용의 장, 불교대학 운영의 내외적 발전도모할 필요가 대두된다. 포교실천의 틀로서 불교대학운영 준비위 구성하고, 담당 실무자와 강의교수의 선택을 고려하고, 환경을 물리적으로 변화시키고, 개인과 집단의 포교를 유도하고, 대외활동을 강화하며, 보상체계를 두고 문서포교의 활용하며, 소규모 사찰이 나 포교당에 적합한 불교대학을 운영해야 한다. 또한 불교대학운영을 통한 실천의 관점에서 개입기술과 신입생 관리기술, 함께하는 기술, 신심고취 기술, 조직화 기술, 포교실천기술을 고려하고 그 연구방향을 마련해야 한다. 운영주제자와 교수, 실무자, 포교사는 긴밀한 소통관계를 형성할 필요가 있다. 또한 포교와 관리 능력을 배양하고 포교의 기본이론, 실천이론, 실천모델과 운영지침을 포함한 포교실천기술을 배워야 한다. 결론적으로 말하면, 불교의 성장은 사찰과 포교당의 불교대학운영과 관련이 있으며, 그 발전은 지속적으로 불교대학운영을 위한 포교실천기술을 개발하기 위해 포교대상과 환경을 조사하고 실천사례에 대한 연구와 그 해결점을 찾기 위한 노력하는데 달려 있다. 아울러 포교원과 불교대학, 각 포교관련 단체들은 부분별, 전체별 모임과 관계망을 형성하여 포교문제를 해결하고 불교대학 발전을 위한 포교활동을 진행할 수 있도록 협력해야 할 수 있다. This paper deals with Buddhism college`s types and improvement points, the technique of buddhist missionary practice and its application. My aim is to provide methods of practice technique in order to come up with an effective and efficient buddhist missionary process through Buddhism college`s operating. Today`s Buddhism college in Temple or Buddhist mission center is divided according to giving Jogye-Order`s approval, course process, method of operating, subject, place and independent problem etc. Buddhism college should be managed in relation to the mutual partnership of subjects and objects. And to improve Buddhism college`s system operating, we should give prompt information and answer in Online and select person, program, contents and material things suitably. As buddhist missionary practice frameworks, Buddhism college needs a committee of arrangements, good selecting workers and professors, changing material environment, inducing individual and group to buddhist mission, enforcing work on the outside of temple, using compensation system and suitable system according to small temple etc. From the theory of practice through Buddhism college`s operating, should be prepared intervention and empathy skill, management skill for new learners, skill for oneness, inspiration of believing and buddhist missionary practice and organization skills. Buddhism college`s subject, workers, professors and missionary workers need to be closely connected and communicated. They have to learn orienting theories and theories of practice, practice model, operational review in relation with Buddhist mission. In concluding Buddhism growth dependents on research on buddhist mission`s targets, material environment and practice cases. Therefore Jogye-Order`s missionary Institute, Buddhism colleges, each missionary group meet and communicate together in order to solve mission`s problems and to develop Buddhist College in online or offline relation nets.
