This paper presents an overview of the concepts of optimal feeder design in relation to the loading of bulk solids for Automatic filling system that should be control the amount of goods and packaging to seal. Feeder modular device, important parts of the package, so in order to perform a conceptual design optimization techniques are applied in two steps. First of all derive the problems through structural analysis for the conceptual model of vibrating feeder. Secondly derive reasonable design model based on the results of the structural analysis of modified boundary shape and then verify it. The proposed system has the following goal that is satisfies the dynamic stability with minimum weight and optimization of the shape. As a result, the weight reduction of feeder is 2.1% and 7% increase in the natural frequency.

Automatic measurement system is required since cycle time and cost of production are increased by various factors in manual systems. This paper presents a machine vision based prototype measurement system for the automotive axisymmetric shape parts which are generally measured by a manual system that is required the tolerance of the part is very small on each machined surface. This measurement system adopts a method in which optical lens is transferred along the profile of the part to minimize measurement cycle time. The main interest of this paper is a development of an optimum measurement algorithm to the outside diameter of the parts that can be applied to various combinations of hardware. The operating system used to implement the whole system is Window XP and corresponding environment.
목표중량 근사치 자동 설정을 위한 멀티헤드 조합시스템에 관한 연구

This paper is a study of the functions required for the system to quantify the closest target weight by combining several random weights such as chips, snacks, fruits, and vegetables. The multi-head weigher is designed for high-performance applications requiring increased production rates and tight accuracy tolerances. This combination system has 12 heads considered in the form of a rectangular array of 2X6 or 3X4. Channel combination can usually occur between 1 and n, and the frequency was the highest with two or three combinations. Experimental result of a combination system for a total target weight was measured at the range from 100g to 500g by increments of 50g, and the average success rate was about 70%. The average elapsed time was about 1.7 seconds, which means it can be used for the packaging of agricultural products with a variety of items.

The performance of a multi-head, computerized combination scaling system to automatically identify a group of agricultural products having a total weight within the target range has been optimized to reduce the package cycle time of the merchandise. First, the structure of the scale was modified to enable faster measurement by enhancing the dynamic stability during the process. Second, the high frequency noise in the measured signal was eliminated by a high frequency filter to provide more accurate weight data. Finally, the algorithm to identify a group of products with a total weight within the target range was modified to enable a user to select an optimal number of scales. According to the experimental verifications, this modified system reduced the package cycle time significantly and also was accurate in measuring the total weight of the selected products.

Machine vision systems is applied for various industries such as optimize your spending, automate your production and maximize your efficiency. This research is effective for most optimal light condition of machine vision that technology was applied bald outside human visual acuity. Image processing converts a target image captured by a CCD camera into a digital signal and then performs various arithmetic operations on the signal to extract the characteristics of the target, such as points, lines, circles, area and length. The mathematical concepts of convolution and the kernel matrix are used to apply filters to signals, to perform functions such as extracting edges and reducing unwanted noise. This research analyze and compares matching ratio with reference image and search for optimal lighting condition in accuracy that user wants coming input image according to brightness change of lighting.
