        A Study on Purchasing Decision Factors in Relation to Department Store Cosmetic Brands of British Female in London among Age Generations

        외모지상주의가 과열된 현대인들이 많아지면서 실제로 여성의 외모에 관련된 화장품 지출이 점차 증가하고 있다. 여성들이 화장품을 구입하는 주요 구매결정 요인으로는 가격, 환경, 브랜드 로열티, 포장 디자인 등 여러 가지가 있다. 본 연구에서는 영국여성이 백화점 화장품 구매 시 구입을 결정짓는 요인과 화장품 구매에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구를 시행하기 위하여 조사대상자는 런던에 위치한 웨스트필드 쇼핑센터에서 180명의 여성들을 대상으로 이루어 졌다. 연구 분석은 SPSS 21.0 통계프로그램을 활용하였다. 연구결과, 많은 여성들은 백화점 화장품이 그들의 피부에 매우 중요하다고 생각했으며 유명 브랜드의 원료 및 성분은 신뢰할 수 있다고 응답하였다. 하지만 영국여성들은 유명 브랜드 화장품을 선호하지만 얼굴에 사용하는 크림에 많은 돈을 소비하는 것은 원하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과의 의미는 기업이 생산하는 제품을 가격은 저렴하면서 원료도 윤리적으로 바른 것으로 하여 소비자의 믿음을 계속적으로 유지하는 것이 필요하다고 사료된다.

        그린마케팅에 대한 인식이 2030의 친환경 화장품 구매행태에 미치는 영향

        Environmental problems have emerged in society and interest in eco-friendly practices has increased. As the cosmetics industry grows, environmental problems caused by packaging materials and chemicals are occurring. Cosmetic ingredients contain chemicals and containers are difficult to recycle, such as plastics and glass. In response to these changes, the cosmetics market is also launching green marketing. Consumers aim to consume by their values and express their beliefs through consumption. As interest in eco-friendly cosmetics increases, consumers choose products from various perspectives such as whether they contain chemical ingredients, quality, and price. For this reason, many companies need to make eco-friendly efforts to reduce waste and plastic in the manufacturing and distribution process to gain consumer trust. Demand for eco-friendly cosmetics is increasing as awareness of eco-friendly cosmetics is increasing through eco-friendly practices by individuals and companies. In order for the eco-friendly cosmetics market to grow, it is necessary for companies to make up for their low accessibility and awareness of eco-friendly cosmetics. This study conducted a survey of adults in their 20s and 30s living in Korea for about four weeks from January 28 to February 27, 2020, using the online form. A total of 207 copies of the questionnaire were collected, of which 201 were used as final analysis materials, excluding six dishonest answers. In this study, we looked at the impact of environmental values and green marketing perceptions on consumers purchasing patterns of eco-friendly cosmetics from a consumers point of view. Through this, we will understand environmental values, awareness of green marketing, and influence of eco-friendly cosmetics purchasing form, and present suggestions of green marketing strategies of eco-friendly cosmetics companies.

        피부장벽 개선에 효과적인 추출물 및 화합물에 관한 연구동향

        Skin barrier refers to the stratum corneum of epidermis, which is explained by the Brick and mortar theory. The purpose of this study is to examine the literature on the effects of skin barrier and to present the research trends on skin barrier improvement in the future through the results of the study on how the extracts and compounds relate to atopic dermatitis. Based on Googles academic search and academic research information service, the study examined extracts and compounds that were effective in improving skin barriers. Among the extracts that are effective in improving skin barriers, the number of papers demonstrated through experiments was the highest in 2010, and the number of experimental studies that showed efficacy in improving skin barriers in compounds was the highest in 2003. Extracts have been studied the most so far with four cases of oats and Houttuynia cordata Thunb and compounds with five cases of seramide have been studied the most. Research on atopic dermatitis has continued steadily, but the clear cause has not been identified to this day, so methods to prevent and improve atopic dermatitis and inflammatory diseases will have to be continuously researched and developed in the future with extracts and compounds of various natural materials.

        미국의 K-Beauty 인지도와 화장품 구매행동 조사 -켄터키대학교(University of Kentucky)를 중심으로-

        This study shows information on the purpose of expanding the K-beauty market in the United States of America. by identifying the tendency of American consumers cosmetic purchase based on a survey conducted to collect the awareness of K-beauty in the USA. The investigation was conducted in the University of Kentucky in America, using an online platform (Instagram) with 207 students and officials. To summarize the survey findings, 57% said they know K-beauty, and 83% of which led to the purchases of Korean cosmetics. 70.35% answered that the Korean wave led to the purchases of Korean cosmetics. Thus, the exchange of information and purchase of Korean cosmetics were made online. 63.4% of people who bought Korean cosmetics said they think the skin care products quality is excellent, and the price is low, and more than half of them responded that they would purchase the same products or the other products from the same brand. The result of this study, Korean cosmetics were recognized that the products were high quality and reasonable price in the USA. Moreover, it was positive about the same Korea brand and product to repurchase intention. Since this survey was conducted in a limited area, this study has a limitation. When comprehensive studies are conducted in consideration of more regions, it will affect the spread of K-beauty in the United States of America.

        천연 및 천연 유래 계면활성제 원료의 연구동향

        This paper would like to identify the technological trends in the cosmetics market to analyze the efficacy and characteristics of natural and natural-derived surfactants in raw materials. The methods were investigated and analyzed in research and patents over the past decade at Riss and google scholar. Most of the natural surfactant from raw materials have been extracted using ethanol from green tea, soapberry, and Saponaria. Also, the isolated components of surfactant have been saponin as a wash. The natural-derived surfactant was exchanged and synthesized from raw materials such as soybeans, coconut, olives, etc. Moreover, the range of raw materials was expanded to amino acids and saccharides, and the utilization was expanded to oil, cleaning, and solubilization. The result of studies has shown that most of the natural surfactants of a single extract were as washes that the effect was limitations in the range of use or cannot be commercialized due to economic feasibility. However, composed of two or more types of extracts could increase the surfactant activity and the use of emulsion and solubilization could develop the possibility of use.

        탈모증상 완화에 효과적인 추출물 및 화합물 연구동향

        As society becomes more complex and civilization develops, the number of hair loss is increasing. Currently, local applications and oral treatments are prescribed as hair loss treatments, but as various side effects are reported, it is urgent to develop products through natural products or other chemicals. Therefore, this study examined the characteristics and efficacy of research methods and materials and examined research trends by referring to 14 years of degree papers, domestic academic papers, and journals to investigate the effects of hair loss in extracts and compounds. Extracts of Danggui, licorice, sewage, pine needles, wild ginseng, and yellowwood leaves increased the expression of insulin growth factor (IGH-1), while extracts of camellia leaves weakened the activity of follicles and caused high fibrocellular activity. For compounds, the focus was on changes in hair density and thickness, typically Azelaicacid, VitaminB6, Rg3, Succinylated Atelocollagen SS, and zinc, while pulsar polysaccharides increased the survival rate of breast milk cells, while glycosaminoglycans increased HaCaT cells. Various factors are complicated in hair loss mitigation and hair growth. In order to commercialize various extracts and compounds studied so far in line with recent hair loss market trends, follow-up studies focusing on stability and safety will need to be conducted with all possibilities open.

        Polyphenol, Flavonoid Contents and Anti-Inflammatory Active Effects of Rubus coreanus Miquel Extract

        본 연구에서는 토종 복분자(Rubus coreanus Miquel) 추출물의 항산화 활성을 확인하고 항염증 효과를 측정하여 기능성 화장품 재료로 사용할 가능성을 살펴보았다. 항산화 활성도는 총 폴리페놀 및 플라보노이드 함량, 세포 독성 및 RAW 264.7 세포에서 억제 효과를 생성하는 질소산화물로 측정되었다. 이 실험은 같은 조건에서 적어도 세 번 이상 수행되었다. 평균 ± 표준 편차의 통계적 분석은 SPSS Windows 버전 17.0을 사용하여 수행되었으며, 유의성은 Student’s t-검사에 의해 테스트 되었다. 실험 결과, 총 농도에 의존하는 폴리페놀과 총 플라보노이드 함량이 확인되었다. 또한, 상당한 NO 생성 억제 효과가 확인되어 토종 복분자 추출물이 기능성 화장품 재료로 사용될 수 있음을 시사했다. 세포독성에 관하여, RAW 264.7 세포의 모든 농도(10~100μg/mL)에서 유의미한 세포 독성은 관찰되지 않았다. 따라서 Rubus coreanus 추출물은 기능성 화장품의 재료로서 잠재력을 가지고 있는 것으로 보인다.
