In this paper, it is identified that high-level vibration of the single phase main power transformers shut down due to the mechanical fault. vibration sources of the SPR in the transformer's are identified and the SPR vibrations are reduced by structural modification. For vibration characteristic identification, vibration signals were measured with an accelerometer when the transformer is driving. These signals are presented in a FFT analysis in order to find the dependency of frequency components on the transformer. From finite element analyses and some experiments, it is also found that resonances occur because the natural frequencies of the SPR exist in usual driving range. To shift the natural frequencies outside the driving range, the SPR is modified by increasing stiffness. It is verified that considerable amounts of vibration are reduced by the structural modification.

In this paper, vibration sources of an electric forklift are identified and the forklift vibrations are reduced by structural modification. For vibration identification, vibration signals are measured by an accelerometer when the forklift is moving. These signals are presented in a waterfall plot in order to find the dependency of frequency components on the forklift speed. It is found that main vibration source is tire pattern excitation. From some experiments and finite element analyses, it is also found that resonances occur because the natural frequencies of the forklift exist in usual driving speed range. To shift the natural frequencies outside the driving speed range, the connection parts between main body and loader are modified to increase stiffness. It is verified that considerable amount of vibration are reduced by the structural modification.

Recently, eco-friendly sources of energy by fuel cells that use hydrogen as an energy source has emerged as the next generation of energy to solve the problem of environmental issues and exhaustion of energy. A solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC) classified based on the type of ion transfer mediator electrolyte has actively being researched. However, the reliability according to the thermal cycle is low during the operation of the fuel cell, and deformation problem comes from the difference in thermal expansion coefficient between the electrode material, the components made of ceramic material is also brittle, which means disadvantages in terms of the strength. Therefore, in this study, considering the states of the manufacturing and operating of SOFC single cells, the stress analyses in the each of the interfacial layer between the anode, electrolyte and the cathode were performed to get the basic data for reliability assessment of SOFC. The obtained results show that von Mises stress according to the thickness direction on operating state occurred maximum stress value in the electrolyte layer. And also the stresses inside the active area on a distance of 1 um from the electrode interface were estimated. Futhermore the evaluation was done for the variation of the stress according to the stage of the operation divided into three stages of manufacturing, Stack, and operating.
154kV급 초고압변압기의 저소음변압기 기술개발에 대한 소개

도심지역에 설치되는 변압기의 저소음화에 대한 요구가 증대되고 있다. 본 연구는 154kV급 초고압 변압기에 대해 저소음 기술 개발 및 제품 적용을 통하여 합성소음 50dB 이하의 변압기를 개발한 내용을 소개하였다. 변압기의 설계 계산단계에서 저소음 기술에 대한 소음저감 효과 및 변압기 자체의 소음 예측을 위해 부하 소음 및 무부하 소음에 대한 통계적인 방법을 통한 예측 기법을 확보하였다.

A dynamic analysis of a tilting actuator for a projection TV is presented in this study. Severe vibration of a tilting actuator deteriorates the video quality of a projection TV. For this reason, a dynamic analysis of the tilting actuator system is essential to improve the video quality. The dynamic behaviors of the mirror reactive-type tilting actuator are examined in order to obtain design requirements of the lens transmissive-type tilting actuator. Based on these design requirements, a basic design is performed for the lens transmissive-type tilting actuator. With the basic design, the dynamic characteristics of the lens transmissive-type actuator are investigated by the finite element analysis After the prototype of the actuator is manufactured, the dynamic behaviors of the prototype are examined by experiments. As a result of this study, a new design for the hinge configuration of the actuator is suggested for better performance.
