Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the oral hygiene status before and after the dental hygiene care performance to patients by the dental hygienists. Methods: Subjects were 55 adults visiting to dental clinics in Chungnam. The patients agreed to undergo a dental hygiene care performance. A skilled dental hygienist provided dental hygiene care performance including periodontal status, halitosis and oral hygiene status. Results: The periodontal pocket depth was compared before and after the performance. The depth dropped from 4.02 mm to 2.81 mm, and the value of halitosis dropped from 45.78 bbv to 35.76 bbv. The O`Leary index of the patients dropped form 49.37 to 32.84, and all the differences were statistically significant. Conclusions: Proper use of oral hygiene supplies and regular dental checkup can prevent periodontal diseases. This study will provide the useful information of the effective application of dental hygiene care performance.
서울과 경남지역 치과 병,의원에 근무하는 치과위생사의 직무스트레스 및 직무만족도에 관한 연구

Objectives: This research was performed in order to compare and examine the job stress and job satisfaction among urban and local dental hospital/clinic hygienists to determine methods for raising the job satisfaction of dental hygienists by investigating and studying the factors that affect the relationship between job stress and job satisfaction. Methods: The researcher personally visited dental hospitals/clinics and explained the purpose of this research to the dental hygienists who worked in dental hospitals/clinics in Seoul and the Gyeongnam area. This examination was done through surveys that were filled out by the consenting dental hygienists. Results: The job stress that was due to interactions with patients and was felt by the Gyeongnam region dental hygienists was found to be higher than that felt by the dental hygienists in Seoul. It was also found that the higher the job satisfaction was, the less was the stress due to low remuneration, and when the autonomy satisfaction was greater, the business-related stress was less. The remuneration compensation stress and job stress of the dental hygienists working in Seoul who regarded themselves as professionals were found to be higher, and the dental hygienists who had a higher degree of emotional satisfaction were found to have smoother relationships with their colleagues. Conclusion: In order to lower the job stress and heighten the job satisfaction of the dental hygienists who work in local regions, such things as establishing an appropriate remuneration system and ensuring the autonomy of dental hygienist as they carry out their job responsibilities are necessary, and continued in-depth training for them should also be seriously considered. 중소기업을 위한 기업내 교육이 절실히 요구된다. 적절한 현장적응 교육을 실시해야 한다. 하지만 현실상 많은 제약이 따르고 있다. 본 논문에서는 중소기업에 적합한 기업내 교육을 위한 대안으로서 학습자 중심의 구성주의 학습법을 활용한 기업내 교육 방안에 대하여 기술하고 사례연구를 통해 그 유용성을 입증하였다.
