      • 192/Ir 핵(核)의 γ-Ray Energy 측정(測定)

        The gamma rays emitted from l92Ir produced by 191Ir (n,γ) 192Ir nuclear reaction are observed in this experiment. The gamma rays are measured by NaI (T1) scintillation detector and their energy spectrum are determined from distribution of the photopeak channel by means of multichannel pulse height analyzer. as compared the results with the standard 192Ir gamma ray energy, they are obtained nearly normal value in very few error of 0.1 to 5%.

        Cu2S-CdS Heterojunction are made by evaporate metal Cu on the CdS thin film which was formed by vacuum deposition method. The electrical properties and photosensitivity of CdS thin film were observed at first and the dependence of V-I characteristics and photovoltaic effect of Cu2S-CdS photo-cell on the evaporation condition, the heat treatment and illumination were investigated. The photovoltaic effects of Cu2S-CdS heterojunction sample were measured on open circuit voltage 0.35 volts and short circuit current 3.7 mA/cm2 at 5000Lux illumination.

      • Cu2Te-CdTe Heterojunction의 광기전력효과(光起電力效果)

        Cu2Te-CdTe Heterojunction solar cell are prepared vacuum evaporation method and ion exchange chemical method to place on the slide glass substrate under the pressure of 2-4×10(-4) torr in 10 minutes. The sample are investigated I-V characteristics, photo spectral response, dependence of open circuit voltage and short circuit current on illumination intensity, dip time ill Cu-ion solution and heating treatment condition. The photovoltaic effect were measured on open circuit voltage 0.35 volts and short circuit current 1.5mA at 5000 Lux illumination.

        일부 폐금속광산 지역 거주 여성의 요중 비소와 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine 농도 사이의 관련성

        본 연구는 비소에 대한 만성노출이 의심되는 일부 폐금속광산 주변 지역 주민 중 여성들을 대상으로 요중 비소농도와 산화적 유전자 손상지표인 요중 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) 농도와의 관련성을 평가하기 위해 시행되었다. 충청북도에 위치한 두 폐금속광산 지역 주민 중 여성 165명을 대상으로 요중 비소농도와 요중 8-OHdG의 농도를 측정하고 SPSS 12.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 조사 대상자들의 요중 비소농도는 기하평균이 5.65 ㎍/g creatinine으로 나타났으며 요중 비소와 8-OHdG 농도와의 관련성 분석에서는 상관계수 0.399 (p<0.001)의 유의한 상관성을 보였다. 이러한 관련성은 비소노출 농도가 낮은 경우가 노출농도가 높은 경우에 비해 상대적으로 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 요중 8-OHdG 농도가 저농도의 비소에 만성적으로 노출된 여성에서 산화적 유전자 손상을 평가하는 좋은 지표가 될 수 있음을 시사한다. This study examines the relationship between urinary arsenic concentration and urinary 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) concentrations, an index of oxidative DNA damage, among women who live near abandoned metal mines. The sample consisted of 165 residents living near two abandoned metal mines located in Chungbuk Province. Demographic characteristics as well as environmental factors relevant to arsenic exposure were collected through interviews, and urinary arsenic concentrations and urinary 8-OHdG concentrations of the research subjects were measured. The collected data were subsequently analyzed using the statistics program SPSS 12.0. The geometric average of urinary arsenic concentrations among the research subjects was 5.65 ㎍/g creatinine. In a correlation analysis between urinary arsenic and 8-OHdG concentrations, the correlation coefficient was significant (p<0.001) at 0.399. This study suggests that urinary 8-OHdG concentrations may be a DNA damage marker for chronic arsenic exposure in women.

      • Single Channel Pulse Hight Analyzer에 의한 Gamma Ray Energy 測定에 관한 硏究

        Measurment of Gamma ray energy is made possible by analyze of secondary electrons to be produced when gamma ray passes through material and is obtained by observation of pulse distribution which is proportional to energy loss of gamma photon that incdents to Scintillation crystal. Gamma ray spectrometer used in this measurement is RLP-5 Continuous Scanning Spectrometer System made in TRACERLAB Inc. which shows in 《Fig.1》 block-diagram. Gamma ray energy is measured with determination of pulse height which through threshold setting of photopeak location on the radiation spectrum Relations between pulse height and energy was obtained by the above measurement method for standard gamma source Cs-137 made in TRACERLAB Inc. The result is as 《table 1》 and 《Fig.7》 In this study gamma ray energy was measured on three samples of Co-60, Na-22 and Mn-54 by identical measurement condition. The result is as table 2 and 《Fig.8》

      • CdTe 蒸着薄膜의 光電導特性

        The CdTe thin film are prepared by vacuum evaporation method to place on the slide glass substrate under the pressure of 2∼4×10-5 Torr and the thin films are heated in temperature range of 100∼300℃ for 1∼5 seconds. The CdTe thin film sample are investigated spectral photosensitivity, resistance, photocurrent and light responce time constant and its results are obtained as following. The spectral photosensitivity are measured in wave length from 0.6 to 1.1 micrometer range, and a maximum photosensitivity is found at 0.9 micrometer. The resistance of sample at before heat treatment are measured 106~107Ω and after heat treatment it changed 107~108Ω, and photocurrent are measured in 1∼30 micro-ampere at 5000 Lux illadiation and the light response time constant are checked about 10-3 seconds.

      • [BaTiO_3]_(1-x) [Cd_5(PO_4)_3Cl]_x의 誘電特性

        The dielectric constant of 「BaTiO_3」_(1-x)「Cd_5(Po_4)_3 Cl」_x has been measured over the temperature range of 20 to 300℃. The additional mole fraction of the Cd_5(Po_4)_3 Cl is ranged over 0.1 to 0.9. The dielectric constant exhibits an anomalous decrease near the tetragonal to cubic transition about 120℃.

      • Holography 干涉에 의한 變形의 測定

        Holography is a photographic technology in which an optical picture of an original object is reproduced from the hologram. In this case, the picture cannot be reproduced even by applying natural light to the hologram and a three-dimensional picture is reproducible by applying the light laser beam at the time of hologram preparation. For the preparation of the hologram, an interferometer having laser beams as light source is used. In this case, He-Ne laser(6328Å) is used. The make-up of the unit varies according to the type of an object, the purpose of tests and the kind of laser. Hologram preparation units are devided roughly into two types; i.e. a reflection type for dispersed reflection object and a transmission type for transmitted. Shown in Fig.4 is the make-up of the typical dual beam reflection type holography photographing unit that light beam applied to the specimen passes through two optical paths. In this paper, the results of observation for the strain by holography interferometer system are reported.

      • 金屬 薄膜의 電氣 抵抗과 光 透過率 測定

        This is a study on investigation to physical properties of resistivity and transmittance for the Au, Ag and Al metal thin film. This sample's purity is 99.9%. Evaporation was done under the pressure 10 Torr. and microscope slide glass was used as substrate. The thickness was measured by Multiple-Beam Interferometry method, resistivity was measured by using Leeds & Northrup Wheatstone bridge and transmittance was measured by the Multiplier Photometer. The following results were obtained through the experiment : 1) Thickness of thin film was increased according to the evaporation time, but its relation was not linear. 2) Relationship between the thickness and the resistivity well agreed with Funcks-Sondheimer theory, and metal thin film of thickness greater than 1000 Å approximately behaved like bulk metal. 3) Transmittance of metal thin film in visible light was generally observed that was zero at thickness Al 400Å, Ag 500Å and Au 600Å.
