복합운동이 근육감소증 고령여성의 자립생활체력, IL-6, TNF-α와 경동맥 혈관에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of 24-week combined exercise program on selfreliance physical fitness, IL-6, TNF-α and carotid artery in elderly women with sarcopenia. Also, the estimated to correlation of among the skeletal muscle mass, self-reliance physical fitness, cytokine and carotid artery in elderly women with sarcopenia. All subjects were sarcopenia women, performed the combined exercise training during 24-week consisting of muscle resistance exercise and aerobic exercise for 60 minutes 3 times a week under the supervision of exercise specialist. Despite no statistically significant change in control group, appendicular muscle mass, body fat mass percent, LDL-C, IL-6, TNF-α and PFV were significantly improved after 24-week combined exercise in exercise group. In addition, IL-6 and TNF-α has a significant negative correlation with appendicular muscle mass and has a significant independent negative correlation with changing of left dumbbell curl up, chair rise and walking speed. In conclusion, 24-week combined exercise program is effective to improve and/or muscle mass, self-reliance physical fitness, IL-6, TNF-α, LDL-C and carotid artery flow velocity in elderly women with sarcopenia. And also, combined exercise can effective to improve sarcopenia, and self-reliance physical fitness and prevention of cardiovascular disease in elderly women with sarcopenia.
태권도 수련이 비만 청소년의 신체구성과 체력 및 비스파틴(Visfatin) 농도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes of body composition, physical fitness and visfatin concentration after 12weeks Taekwondo training. Subjects were consisted of twenty obese adolscent men. The taekwondo training was composed of 64% HRR in 1~6weeks, 67% HRR in 7~12 weeks, 60 minutes per day, 5 days per week. The results of this study are as follow BMI and %body fat were significantly decreased and lean body mass was significantly increased after taekwondo training. VO2max(㎖/min) and VO2max(㎖/㎏/min) were significantly training. Grip strength, standing jump long and side step were significantly increased taekwondo training. insulin resistance decreased significantly after taekwondo training. Visfatin was significantly(p<.01) decreased taekwondo training. In conclusion, taekwondo training was shown to positive influence on body composition, VO2max and cholesterol. In particularly, visfatin concentration was decreased after 12 week taekwondo training in obese adolescent men. Therefore, it is maybe thought that taekwondo training was important role for prevent obesity.
태권도 수련기간이 아동의 신체구성과 근력 및 최대산소섭취량에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference of body composition, muscle strength and VO₂max according to the Taekwondo training periods. Our participants in the study consisted of twenty-four elementary school student(11yrs). They were separated into three groups a control group(n=8), a 8month taekwondo training group(n=10) and a 15month Taekwondo training group(n=8). We found that %fat was significantly difference between control and Taekwondo training group, also, lowest 15 month group. And muscle strength and VO₂max were high in the Taekwondo training group compared to the control group, but blood pressure was no significant difference among group. Especially VO₂max/weight was highest 15 month group. In conclusion, Taekwondo training was shown to positive influence on body composition, muscle strength and cardiorespiratory function in elementary school student. However, growing adolescents needed long-term Taekwondo training to improve their body composition and physical fitness.
장기간 에어로빅스가 비만 청소년의 최대산소섭취량과 복부지방 및 인슐린 저항성에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of long-term aerobics on V0₂max and abdominal fat in obese adolescent and whether the change of %body fat were related to the change of insulin and visceral fat after 20 week. The twenty obese adolescents divided into control group (n=10) and aerobics group (n=10). Aerobics program was composed of step touch, down up, sit up et al. and it performed 60 minutes a day, 5 days a week at 50~70% heart rate reserve (HRR) during 20 weeks. %body fat and body mass index (BMI) were significantly decreased, and lean body mass (LBM), HRmax, and V0₂max were significantly increased after 20 weeks in the aerobics group. Total fat volume (TFV), visceral fat tissue (VFV), subcutaneous fat tissue (SFV), VFV/SFV and insulin resistance index (HOMA index) were significantly decreased. Although, the change rate (△%) of VFV was positively correlated with that of HOMA index, it is negatively correlated with that of V0₂max in the exercise group. These result suggested that aerobics might improve cardiovascular function, obese and insulin resistance.
복합운동이 복부내장지방 비만 남성의 심장 구조 기능 및 아디포싸이토카인 농도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of 12 weeks aerobic and resistance exercise on cardiac structure and function, and adipocytokines. The participants, who were middle-aged visceral obese men, performed 12 weeks combined exercise program. The combined exercise program included aerobic(50∼70% of HRR) and resistance exercise(70% 1RM) for 80 min during 12weeks(four times per week). Combined exercise decreased abdominal visceral fat, improved cardiac function. In addition, combined exercise improved significantly IGF-1, NT-pro BNP and IL-6 concentration. Therefore, it might be thought that combined exercise would be a positive role for body composition, cardiac function and adipocytokines in abdominal visceral obese men.
건강생활체조가 고혈압 노인여성의 혈압과 hs-CRP농도 및 대사증후군 위험인자에 미치는 영향

High sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP), a marker of inflammation, was a risk factor for cardiovascular disease and metabolic syndrome. Hypertension and exercise are associated with hs-CRP. We had therefore assessed the effects of a health life gymnastics for 24weeks on blood pressure, hs-CRP concentration and metabolic syndrome risk factors in older women with hypertension. The subjects included 20 hypertension women(age, 73.2±2.4 yrs). We examined the effect of health life gymnastics on hs-CRP and metabolic syndrome risk factors. Measures of body composition, blood pressure, aerobic capacity, lipid profiles were all obtained before and after the interventions. Results of this study were as following: There were significant decrease in %fat, hs-CRP, SBP, WC, glucose and TG. There were significant increase in oxygen uptake capacity, LBM and HDL-C in exercise group. Also, there were the positive correlation of SBP, WC, glucose, TG and negative correlation of HDL-C with hs-CRP, respectively. This study demonstrates that health life gymnastics significantly results in modest improvements of hs-CRP, metabolic syndrome risk factors in older women with hypertension.
