학생건강체력평가제(PAPS)에 대한 중학교 체육교사의 인식 및 효율적인 운영방안

본 연구는 학생건강체력평가제(PAPS) 운영의 주체자인 중학교 체육교사의 인식을 알아보고 효율적 운영방안을 모색하는 것이 목적이다. 연구 참여자는 D광역시에 소재한 중학교체육교사로 PAPS 사용 경력이 2년 이상 된 교사 10명을 유목적 표집법으로 선정하였다. 자료수집 방법으로는 심층면담, 비참여관 찰, 문서수집 등을 활용하였으며, 심층면담은 구조화된 면담 과, 비구조화 된 면담을 혼용하여 1∼2회에 걸쳐 60분간 실시하였다. 또한 NEIS 상에 입력된 자료에서 출력되는 평가지 와 수업일지 등의 문서를 수집하였다. 자료분석은 귀납적 자료 분석을 통해 이루어졌으며, 연구 자료의 진실성을 확보하기 위 하여 삼각검증 법, 구성원간검토, 동료간 협의를 사용하였다. 연구결과, PAPS에 대한 인식으로, 학생들 관심밖에 PAPS, 체육교사들의 과도한 업무, 학생건강 체력의 측정과 평가의 어려움, NEIS에 측정자료 입력의 번거로움, 학교와 가정의 비 연계성으로 되어있다. 또한 PAPS 효율적 운영방안으로 PAPS 관련연수, PAPS의 홍보, 학교 교육과정과 연계의 필요성으로 되어있다. PAPS의 성공적인 정착과 효율적 운영을 위해서는 이런 학교 현장의 어려움을 이해하고 올바른 방향으로 나아가 야 할 것이다. The study of this study was to identify perceptions and effective management strategies on physical activity promotion system (PAPS) in the middle school physical education teachers. Participants consisted of 10 physical education teachers who had 2 years or above experience of PAPS operation at middle schools in D metropolitan city based on a purposive sampling method. For data collection methods, in-depth interviews, non- participant observation, and document collection were used. In-depth interviews were conducted for 60 minutes 1-2 times by mixing structured interview and unstructured interview. Inductive analysis were used for data analysis. Also, triangulation, member checks, and peer debriefing were used for data trustworthiness. Results indicated that accurate measurement could not be performed in the PAPS caused by students` negative awareness on measurement, evaluation sheets were not properly delivered due to students` unnecessary awareness on result sheet, and complexity of evaluation and reading procedures imposing on students and their parents on NEIS. For effective management strategies, teachers need workshops on PAPS, and connection PAPS to curriculum. For successful settlement and effective operation of the PAPS, understanding difficulties in school practices is prerequisite to proceed in the right direction.
