        Recently, the number of facial contouring surgery such as angle reduction or malarplasty in Oral and maxillofacial surgery is increasing steadly as the demand for maxillofacial esthetic surgery of the patients is growing. Looking around international trend of oral and maxillofacial surgery, nowadays workshop or symposium about facial soft esthetic surgery such as corrective rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, face lift are held. This means that maxillofacial esthetic surgery is new scope which oral and maxillofacial surgeons should develope. Therefore the authors present cases of blepharoplasty which got hardly used to oral and maxillofaical surgeon with literature review in order to raise the concern about maxillofacial esthetic surgery.

        제어 가능한 댐퍼를 적용한 시트 현가장치의 승차감 평가

        In the present work, a seat suspension system adopting semi-active damper is evaluated for driver's ride quality. A cylindrical type of ER(electrorheological) damper is designed and manufactured for the seat suspension of heavy vehicles. The governing equation is derived under consideration of human vibration. A sliding mode controller is then synthesized and experimentally realized on the manufactured ER seat suspension while a driver is sitting on the controlled seat. Ride quality is evaluated by fatigue decreased proficiency boundary, vibration dose value and crest factor utilizing weighted-acceleration according to ISO2631.

        MR 햅틱 큐를 이용한 차량 기어변속 보조장치의 성능평가

        This paper proposes a driver supportive device with haptic cue function which can be applicable for vehicles adopting manual transmission system to transmit gear-shifting information to a driver by kinesthetic forces. This haptic cue function is implemented on accelerator pedal by utilizing magnetorheological(MR) fluid and clutch mechanism. In order to achieve this goal, an MR clutch mechanism is devised to be capable of rotary motion of accelerator pedal. The proposed MR clutch is then optimally designed and manufactured under consideration of spatial limitation of vehicles. After transmission torque is experimentally evaluated according to field intensity. The manufactured MR clutch is integrated with accelerator pedal and electric motor to establish the haptic cue device. Control performances are experimentally evaluated via a simple feed-forward control algorithm.

        DMBA 유도 햄스터 협낭 발암모델에서 세포증식 및 사멸과 p63 발현의 관계 분석

        Purpose: Abnormalities in the p53 gene are regarded as the most consistent genetic abnormalities detected in head and neck squamous cell carcinogenesis. Two new members of the p53 gene family, p73 and p63 have recently been identified. They share considerable sequence homology with p53 in the transactivation, DNA binding, and oligomerization domains, indicating possible involvement in carcinogenesis. Disruption of the homeostatic balance between proliferation and apoptosis is widely believed to contribute to human oral carcinogenesis. The aim of this study was to analyze expression of p63 in squamous cell carcinogenesis and to compare with immunochemical markers representing cell proliferation and apoptosis. Materials and Methods: Using the Syrian hamster oral cancer model, the fraction of apoptotic (apoptotic index-AI), proliferating (mitotic index-MI) and p63 expressing keratinocytes were examined at normal, dysplastic and malignant oral epithelium using the TUNEL assay, PCNA and p63 immunostaining. Results: p63 significantly increased between normal and dysplastic epithelium and between dysplastic and malignant epithelium. PCNA significantly increased between normal and dysplastic epithelium and between normal and malignant epithelium. However, increase between dysplastic and malignant epithelium, though still increasing, was not statistically significant. The percentage of TUNEL positive cells increased from normal to dysplastic epithelium and returned to normal keratinocyte level in the malignant epithelium. However, differences between tissue types were not significant. The ratio of MI:AI increased significantly only in the dysplastic-malignant epithelial transition. The increase of p63 expression closely reflected the change in the MI:AI ratio during oral carcinogenesis. Conclusion: The p63 may be associated with the regulation of epithelial proliferation and apoptosis in DMBA-induced hamster buccal pouch squamous cell carcinogenesis. Further study is required to investigate which p63 isoforms are involved in hamster buccal pouch carcinogenesis.

      • IP Multicast 트리 구현을 위한 유전자 알고리즘

        정보화 시대에 이르러 통신에 대한 수요가 기하 급수적으로 늘고 있고, 급속한 망의 고도화 및 확장이 일어나고 있다. 새로운 네트워크를 구축하거나, 기존의 네트워크를 확장 및 재구성 할 때 최적 네트워크 설계를 위한 방법으로 전통적인 OR 기법과 휴리스틱 방법이 쓰여 있다. 망의 구성에는 노드간의 연결비용이 발생한다. 또한 망의 각 노드는 처리용량이 제한되어 있으므로 수요량을 만족하는 망의 설계를 할 수 있어야 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 이와 같이 노드의 용량이 제한된 경우에 전체수요를 만족할 수 있는 최소비용의 망 구조를 구축하는 것이다. 네트워크 설계 문제는 NP-Complete인 경우가 대부분이며 최적해를 구할 수 없는 경우가 일반적이다. 본 연구에서는 이 문제를 효율적으로 해결하기 위하여 메타 휴리스틱 방법중 유전자 알고리듬을 이용하도록 한다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 유전자 알고리즘을 시뮬레이션에 의해 종래의 방법론에 비해 짧은 세대수 이내에 만족해를 얻을 수 있는 것으로 조사되었다. Multicast is a network-layer function that constructs paths along which data packets from a source are distributed to many, but not all, of the destinations in a communication network. For multicasting, the paths to receivers share links and the network implicitly defines a tree structure to distribute multicast packets. The problem of computing delay-constrained minimum-cost multicast trees in a network is of great interest in the last years. The best known solution to this problem is the Bounded Shortest Multicast Algorithm(BSMA), which suffers high complexity and requires very large computation time. To resolve these problems, neural networks or genetic algorithm are applied in recent researches. In this paper, a genetic algorithm to construct Multicast Tree Structure is proposed. Simulation results shows that the proposed algorithm yields efficient tree structures in the aspect of network operating cost and the quality of service than BSMA for relatively large networks.

        Goretex를 이용한 융비술

        융비술시 실리콘 고무는 다루기 쉽고 조직 반응이 적어 현대 많이 돌출의 합병증이 생길 수 있다. 저자등은 이러한 실리콘의 단점을 보완할 수 있는 goretex를 사용하여 융비술을 시행하고 비첨에 대해서 자가연골을 이식하여 만족할 만한 결과를 얻었기에 goretex가 안면부 연조직의 증강을 위한 이식재료로 적합하다고 생각되어 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Many different materials have been used to provide augmentation of the nasal dorsum. this include both autogenous and homogenous materials,as well as allografts. Silicone among the artificial materials has been most widely used. The silicone has some advantages and disadvantages. Goretex(expanded polytetra-fluoroethylene) which has widely used in vascular surgery and abdominal surgery can be used for facial soft tissue augmentation. The author presemts 2 cases of nasal augmentaion using goretex with literature review.
