      • Attrition Reactor에서의 힘의 소모량 측정에 관한 연구

        The milling effect of Attrition reactor was very successful using stainless steel balls as a milling media. But Attrition reactor need large amount of power consumption to agitat the heavy milling media. Power measurements were studied with a dynamometer which was attached to the torque table. Power consumptions were measured by changing agitation speeds, kinds of milling media, heights of milling media, positions of stirrer, stirrer types, and so on.

        The amount of ethanol extract from ginseng was about 20.3% (w/w)and the yield of saponins from the extract was 5.5% (w/w). The optimum concentration of solvent was 60% ethanol. The optimum extraction time and temperature were respectively 2 hr and 80℃ when 0.5g of sample (Φ:0.25∼0.42mm) was added to 300ml of solvent. The empirical equation for the extraction of components was as follow: Y(θ,T,φ)=8log(Θ??100)-45log(T??×100)-60log(Φ??×100)+38 The partical size of sample had largely influence on the extraction yield, and the extraction mechanism was considered as diffusion.

        대전시 하천의 수질오염 연구

        Water contamination of large three streams in DAE JEON was measured during the summer time in 1983. The data were compared to those of the last some years and the results were summerized as follows; 1. The pH value was very low (av:5.8) and the water temperature was so high in DAE WHA DONG (av:27.8 ℃), where a lot of factories were located together. It means that some factories were pouring hot acid wastewater without careful treatments. 2. The amount of dissolved oxygen of all streams were so little (av:1.0ppm) that most of underwater living things can not live there. 3. The average value of BOD is amount to 115-230 ppm, and all the streams were overloaded to self-clearing. 4. Low COD values comparing to those of BOD seem that most streams must have contaminated with aromatic compounds or pyridine, which are usually decreasing the COD value. 5. Insufficient treatment of excrements in the large scale apartment district have caused for increasing the amount of suspended solids.

      • Pentadecafluorroctyl Polyacrylate에 依한 Nylon 6 纖維의 撥水加工에 關한 硏究

        This study has been investigated on the effects of fluorochemical repellent agent on the water repellent finishes of nylon 6 fibre with pentadecafluorooctyl polyacrylate. Contact angles of various liquids on the fluorochemical treated nylon 6 surface are measured. The critical surface tension of about 46 dynes per cm on the nylon 6 surface is resulted. The effect of fluorochemical repellent was most favourable at 1% concentration repellent agent and the critical surface tension is resulted the value of about 10.5 dynes per cm. The use of antistatic agent in the fluorochemical repellent was most favourable below 0.5% concentration. It was found that the repellent effects were improved by repeated treatments with the solution of lower concentration of repellent.

        조합화학을 이용한 Y(As, Nb, P, V)O4:Eu3+ 적색형광체의 합성 및 광 특성 분석

        조합화학 기법을 적용하여 $YRO_4$ (R=As, Nb, P, V)계 모체에 Eu을 활성하여 적색형광체를 합성하였다. 합성된 형광체는 UV PL,VUV PL, 및 색좌표 분석을 하였고, 254nm 및 147nm 여기하에서의 발광세기 및 색좌표 사면체 라이브러리를 완성하였다. Eu이 0.1 mol 도핑된 적색 형광체는 254nm로 여기 시켰을 때 $YRO_4$를 중심으로 다른 중심으로 다른 성분이 미량 첨가되었을 때 가장 좋은 발광 세기를 나타내었으나. 147nm에서는 $YRO_4$를 중심으로 좋은 발광 세기가 나타났다. 합성된 형광체 중 $Y_{0.9}$(A$S_{0.06}$N$B_{0.06}$$P_{0.83}$$V_{0.06}$) $O_4$: $Eu_{0.1}$의 조성으로 1200$^{\circ}C$에서 소성하였을 때 상용 형광체와 대등한 발광세기가 색순도가 우수하였다. Eu doped YRO$_4$ (R=As, Nb, P, V) red phosphors were prepared by the combinatorial chemistry method. The quaternary material library of tetrahedron-type composition array was designed to investigate the luminescence of the host material under UV and VUV excitations (254, 147 nm). The photoluminescent characteristics of the samples were comparable to the commercially available red phosphors such as (Y, Gd)BO$_3$: $Eu^{3+}$ and Y$_2$O$_3$: In view of the luminescence yield, V rich region was found to be optimum under UV excitation. But the results under VUV excitation were different from those of UV excitation, the samples of the composition containing a large amount of P shows the highest luminescence. Especially, higher luminescence was obtained in $Y_{0.9}$(A$S_{0.06}$N$B_{0.06}P_{0.83}V_{0.06}$) O$_4$: $Eu_{0.1}$ phosphors than commercial (Y, Gd)BO$_3$red phosphors under 147 nm excitation.
