Railway system are operated safely by the Railway Safety Act. However, because railway of our country has many underground and tunnels, if an accident can cause massive damage to human. In order to minimize the loss of life must obtain a minimum field of view that passengers and crew could be evacuated. Railway vehicle technology standards has a criteria for the emergency lights are specified in order to secure a minimum field of view. However, depending on the type of incident may be an abnormal circumstances that can not operate the emergency lights installed occurs. This paper investigated the circumstances that affect the cabin emergency lighting system and complementing this research was the cabin emergency lights system.

The device for a life test of a railway vehicle headlight LED was produced and design. The manufactured life test apparatus has a structure in which the illuminance of a plurality of samples is measured by a single illuminance measuring apparatus. In order to measure the illuminance of the life test apparatus, all the samples were turned off, and then the individual power was supplied sequentially to select the measurement method. However, this illumination measurement method has a phenomenon in which the measured illuminance differs from the normal illuminance when the sample is turned off and then supplied again. In this paper, we investigate the cause of the difference in illuminance and studied the illuminance measurement method to solve it.
