The purpose of this study was to offer the basic data for the sake of finding issues and progress direction and securing competitiveness by looking into the relationship between service quality perception and satisfaction level in senior citizens’ use of sports welfare facilities. Furthermore, the establishment of strategy through prediction of satisfaction level is needed. The study aims at investigating the relationship between service quality perception and satisfaction level in senior citizens’ use of sports welfare facilities. To attain this goal, the study attempted to discover the influences of service quality upon satisfaction in the senior citizens’ use of mass sports welfare facilities. The population for the research was a senior citizen sports welfare center that most actively conducted and offered a variety of senior workout programs among senior citizen welfare facilities in the Yeongdong region(Donghae, Gangneung, Samcheok, Sokcho) 2008, and the subjects of the study were the participant users in the place. Through stratified cluster random sampling, samples were drawn. After inputting individual data into computer, frequency analysis was made so as to discover the survey subjects’ personal characteristics through the statistics program of SPSS 14.0 version for Windows. And to figure out the relationship between service quality and satisfaction level, multiple regression analysis was applied(α=.05). The conclusion was some relationship between service quality and consumer satisfaction level in senior citizens’ use of sports welfare facilities.
