The output of solar array is changed non-linearly by variation of insolation and temperature. Hence, as varying insolation and temperature, Maximum Power Point Tracking(MPPT) is necessary to increase generation efficiency of solar array. This paper presented MPPT algorithm using position control of output voltage and current of solar array and implemented hardware MPP tracker which is appropriate and inexpensive for low power system(ten s~hundreds watt). Finally, those were verified through simulation.

This paper deals with stand-alone Photovoltaic system(SPVS) with charge and discharge controller Main power source of SPVS are generally solar cell and battery. Therefore SPVS can be classified into variable types in accordance with connection type between battery and solar cell. Mainly used one of them is direct connection type which has advantages such as simple structure and simple controller However most big drawback of this system is energy loss by voltage disharmony between solar cell and battery. Therefore SPVS with charge and discharge controller which can operate solar cell at maximum power point is designed and ,analyzed by simulation in this paper.<br/> <br/>

In this paper, controller for PWM converter considering unsymetrical input voltage is designed and current controller using LQ controller with conditional integrator is proposed. And the proposed current controller is compared with other current controller predictive controller, decoupling PI controller. As simulation results, LQ controller with Conditional Integrator shows the improved performance for DC link voltage regulation through transient test of load variation. And when unsymeritrical input voltage is applied to converter with conventional current controller considering only symetrical input voltage, input current is distorted but it is showed that current controller considering unsymetrical input has robust control characteristics under phase voltage unbalance.

To detect islanding mode when the grid is being tripped is a major safety issue in utility interactive PV(UIPV) system. And one of the widely used techniques to detect islanding mode are Reactive power variation (RPV)method and Active frequency drift (AFD)method. In this paper, analytical design method is suggested for AFD method under IEEE recommended islanding test condition. And in order to show the validity of proposed method, EMPT based simulation was done for UIPV system with AFD method. Results shows proposed method is very useful.

Bellows is a familiar component in piping systems as it provides a relatively simple means of absorbing thermal expansion and providing system flexibility. In routine piping flexibility analysis by finite element methods, bellows is usually considered to be straight pipe runs modified by an appropriate flexibility factor; maximum stresses are evaluated using a corresponding stress concentration factor. In this paper, the dynamic characteristics of bellows were investigated by Finite element methods. Using Anany program, the natural frequencies and evaluation of the reliability of bellows were also investigated.

In this paper, electronic-controlled power supply(EPS) system for solar cell characteristic is proposed to solve various problems and to achieve reliable experimental result on photovoltaic system. This system emulates the solar cell output characteristics, and it can substitute solar cell in laboratory experiment system. New model for solar cell is proposed to realize the EPS system for solar cell,which is based on the interpolation. Both simulation and experiment are executed to show the validity of the proposed EPS system.
