Pseudomonas putida에 의한 페놀의 생물학적 분해 특성

The biodegradation charcteristics of phenol by Pseudomonas putida KCTC 1643 was studied in a bubble column bioreactor as batch fed-batch and continuous operation. Phenol could be utilized as the sole carbon source by P. putida, however, the degradation level for phenol was increased from 58.2% to 99% because of cell growth by glucose addition to basal media. The growth rate of P. putida decreased with phenol. At initial phenol concentration of 0.6g/L, degradation rate had its maximum value. In the continuous operation the maintenance of cellular stability from Phenol inhibition was a important parameter for the degradation of Phenol.
