        The fast food restaurant in past had images of junk food by using warm colors, firm chairs for quick turnover. Consumers recognized it as places only to eat. However, the restaurant has brought changes to the point of wellbeing culture. It has affected space design as well as healthy new menu development. Its recognition has become comfortably and healthfully so it"s shown in space design. The value of the impact on space, consumers and brands can be high. The fast food restaurant has been focused on various marketing such as expanding cafe-type stores, providing a space of understanding consumers, etc. This study drew five marketing characteristics in previous research. We studied space design characteristics with brand identity, the sense of place, mutual relationship, eco-friendly nature and an emotional factor. Four cases focusing on commercial supremacy around the university area were analyzed. We wrote a checklist with specific factors in marketing. And abstract and indirect representation was appeared in brand identity. A space of understanding consumers was provided in the sense of place. Regarding mutual relationship, it shall be planned by complementing a space for waiting. In eco-friendly nature, changes to healthy fast food restaurant were found. In general, active and relaxing atmosphere was directed in an emotional factor. As mentioned above, the fast food restaurant was being developed as consumers were agents.

      • 어린이도서관 열람실의 공간구성에 관한 연구

        The increased social interest in a children"s library has boosted the foundation of public and private libraries for children, including private libraries. Compared to the attention and governmental support, however, academical effort for a children"s library is mediocre. Therefore, it is required to meet the future need of libraries for children in a professional way. Regarding organizing a children"s library, the library should be equipped with environment where systemic information is available to reduce trial and error, provide pleasant indoor environment, and activate a setting for kids" reading. This study selected 4 children"s libraries which opened after 2000, located in Seoul. Literature review was used to define the reading area in the library and reclassify parts of space. This study aims at suggesting an effective and healthy environment in designing a library for children in the future and providing basic information for proper progress in children"s reading. By resorting preceding research, elements of the space were classified into entering sector, service sector, particular activities sector, preserving data sector, convenience sector.

      • 대학생의 색채 선호에서 나타난 주거공간 실내 색채특성

        The purpose of this study is to understand the color preference of college students and to analyze the characteristic of colors in private space of houses. The methods used are field surveys. The most preferred color was blue, orange, yellow, green, purple, red, and navy in order. The least preferred color was orange, purple, blue, green, red, yellow, blue in order. The ceiling and the wall used yellowish colors and the floor used ivory, yellowish or oreangish colors. As the result the college students preferred the whitish color room the most when they survey with the 9 different interior images which contained the chromatic and achromatic color ranges. The finding is that the college students liked the variety of colors as a point color only in a certain area yet they preferred the bright and clean achromatic color images as a most interior space.
