본고는 『카라마조프가 형제들』의 이념이 최종 말해지는 알료샤의 심급을 ‘아름다움’의 개념을 중심으로 알아보았다. ‘아름다움’은 도스토예프스키소설에서 다성악적 진실이 종교적 진리와 연결되는 매개였다. 『카라마조프가의 형제들』에서는 진정한 아름다움이 무엇인지가 드미트리와 이반의 아름다움에 관한 서로 다른 정론 속에서 예증되었다. 이반의 서사시의 주인공, 대심문관이 설파한 유토피아는 타자가 존재하지 않는 안정의 세계로서 도스토예프스키가 에세이에서 말한 아름다움의 성격 중 일부만을 표현하고 있을 뿐이었다. 그와 달리, 침묵으로 현현되는 ‘알료샤’의 아름다움은 타자가 존재하고, 연대하는, 그리하여 유기적 조화와 안정이 표현되는 진정한 아름다움 자체였다. 알료샤의 미적 심급 아래에서 선과 악, 부조화와 투쟁의 세계는 유기성을 획득할 수 있었다. 알료샤의 지상 이해의 핵심인 ‘부활’은 세계의 유기성을 표현했다. 알료샤의 이해에서 지상은 죽음의 공간인 동시에 부활을 예정하는 공간이었다. 드미트리의 경우, 알료샤의 미적 심급에서 영적 ‘부활’의 가능성을 획득할 수 있었다. 「에필로그」에서는 세계의 유기성이 비단 현-존재를 향하고 있는 것이 아니라 과거와 미래, 죽은 자와 산 자의 유기적 통합 속에서 구축되는 것이라는 이념이 말해졌다. 아름다운 인간인 알료샤가 선언하는 것은 지상의 모든 존재의 유기적 연대였다. This paper sheds light on Alyosha's aesthetic level, where the ideology of “The Brothers Karamazov” is finally spoken, focusing on the concept of “beauty.” “Beauty” was the medium through which polyphonic truths were connected to religious truths in Dostoevsky's novels. Alyosha, a “beautiful” human being, redeemed Dmitry and Ivan in his aesthetic level, and shouted for the organic solidarity of the world. In “The Brothers Karamazov,” beauty is exemplified in the two different arguments of Dmitry and Ivan. Utopia, preached by the Grand Inquisitor - the protagonist of Ivan's epic, is a world of harmony where other beings do not exist, thus expressing partial aspect of beauty that Dostoevsky said in his essay. On the other hand, the beauty of Alyosha, expressed in silence, was a true beauty in which the other existed, thus harmony and stability were expressed. In this context it can be said that Alyosha gives body to true beauty. Under Alyosha's aesthetic level, the world of good and evil, where all elements were in dissonance, was able to acquire organic harmony. At the heart of Alyosha's understanding of the earth, 'revival' expressed the organic nature of the world. In Alyosha's understanding, the earth is both a space of death and a space to be revived. Dmitry was possible to acquire the possibility of spiritual 'resurrection' in the aesthetic level of Alyosha. What was said in “Epilogue” was that the organic nature of the world was not only directed at the present-existence, but also was built in the organic integration of the dead and the living. What Alyosha, a beautiful human being, declares was an organic solidarity of all beings on the earth
