The fracture probability of 13degree impact test in wheels was predicted by simulating the experimental method using finite-element analysis. The strain variation of spoke parts showed the tendency like a damping harmony oscillation during 13degree impact test. Also, the difference of maximum strain between wheel with tire and wheel without tire was nearly to nothing. Accordingly this work predicted the fracture probability of wheels without tire. The result showed a linear correlation between maximum strain amplitude and impact force when outer flange was not broken by impact test. On the other hand, maximum strain amplitude fixed or slightly increased regardless of impact forces when outer flange was broken by impact test. This result showed that wheel absorbed impact energy under plastic deformation when outer flange was broken.
