This paper introduces conceptual adder designs of unary numbers. The three adder designs presented are based on the unary coded decimal(UCD) number system; ripple carry adder, carry save adder and carry look-ahead adder. A series of computer simulation verified the normal circuit operation of these designs. Unary addition requires excessive memory capacity to store un-coded intermediate data. The unary coded decimal(UCD) number system addresses the reduction of this excessive circuit size.
