우이도 풍성사구 복원을 위한 지형변화 및 식물분포 특성연구

This work compares previous reports in order to conduct a comprehensive research on halopytes and the geographical features and topography of the land. The deposit of "Pungsungsagu" moved 3.88 m from south to north. Also, both August and September, the level was lowered by 31 cm. This was consistent with the reported result (Byun and Oh, 2006) that the deposit supplied from Seoungchon beach through the north-west wind in Winter was dispersed by the south-east wind in Summer. In this paper, we displayed the results quantitatively in a diagram form. The vegetation line of Seoungchon beach, from which the sand deposit of "Pungsungsagu" was supplied, was to move backward towards the land in Summer. This deposit movement system in Seoungchon beach(north-west direction) was in line with the general movement system of sand dune at the west coast. The sand dune was deposited by the seasonal north-west wind and eroded by the wave energy in Summer. By comparing reports from 2006 and 2007, we found that dunn plants disperse around "Pungsungsagu", and are newly appear around the Erigeron canadensis and Corispermum stauntonii community. Especially, since the colonies of Erigeron canadensis and Pueraria lobata(species of land origin) occupy over 5% of the total area, the ecosystem of the sand dune is considered to be dangerous. Thus in order to monitor the sand dune of Uido islands on a long term bases, comprehensive researches are needed.
