Design target values of transmission loss in a high-speed train wall are suggested by calculating the difference between interior and exterior noise levels of it. Exterior noise level distribution on the boundary of train wall is calculated by Sysnoise, with sound source input prepared by experiments. Two kinds of exterior sound sources are considered, the rolling noise of train wheels on the rail and the aerodynamic noise from the pantograph. Interior noise level is provided by high-speed design target. Transmission loss characteristics according to the frequency band are examined.
차량 날개의 형상 변화가 경주용 차량의 주행 안정성에 끼치는 영향에 대한연구

The purpose of the study is to optimize the down force of the formula vehicle in order to enhance the vehicle handling stability. Required data for the dynamic analysis of the vehicle are as follows: Mass, moment of inertia, and tire dynamic properties. Mass and moment of inertia data are calculated using Siemens NX 5.0. And those are verified by VIMF measurements of GMDAT. Dynamic data for the tire is supplied by Kumho Tire. Aerodynamic forces for two types of the rear wing are calculated using Fluent software. Full vehicle analysis using Carsim software has been carried out to find out the improvement of the vehicle stability by changing the shape of the rear wing.
